Most of us see Pastor Mark on Sunday mornings—preaching from the stage, talking with people in the lobby, and leading our church. But Sunday is only a small part of what it means to be a pastor.
Behind every Sunday are hours of preparation, prayer, meetings, phone calls, hospital visits, hard conversations, decisions, and moments of carrying burdens that most of us will never know about. There are family dinners interrupted, days off rearranged, and plenty of sacrifices made quietly because he deeply loves the people God has called him to pastor.
For many years, Pastor Mark has given so much of his life to leading Lifeway, but we hope this gives you a little glimpse of the man behind the title—the husband, dad, Dude, outdoorsman, coffee enthusiast, musician, and friend we are so thankful to call our pastor.
Today, on Pastor Appreciation Day, let’s make sure he knows just how much we appreciate him. ❤️
