📅 Here’s what’s happening at Lifeway this week!

Whether you’ve been part of Lifeway for years or you’re looking for a church to call home, we’d love to connect with you.

This week you’ll find opportunities for worship, community, recovery, discipleship, and serving—all designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and with others.

🎉 Don’t forget! VBS is coming June 22–24. If you have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or neighbors who would love three nights of fun, worship, games, and Bible teaching, be watching for registration details.

📖 Also coming soon: A brand-new Pop-Up Bible Study launching at the end of June! We’ll be sharing more details soon, so keep an eye on our social media pages.

What if the battle you’re facing isn’t won by working harder… but by worshiping first?

When Jehoshaphat was surrounded by an army he couldn’t defeat, he admitted something most of us struggle to say:

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

God’s response?

“You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord.”

So when the day of battle came, Jehoshaphat didn’t send the strongest warriors first. He sent the worshippers. And before a sword was ever raised, God moved.

Maybe that’s the reminder someone needs today.

Before the answer comes.
Before the breakthrough happens.
Before the circumstances change.

Put your praise on the front line.

A bottle of water may seem small, but sometimes a simple act of kindness opens the door to a conversation, a prayer, an invitation, or a life changed forever.

This past week our Lifeway Church Foothills team spent the morning serving at the Chesnee Town-Wide Yard Sale, handing out free cold water, meeting our neighbors, and inviting people to be part of what God is doing in our community.

We aren’t opening a new campus because we need another building. We’re opening a campus because people matter.

Every conversation, every smile, every invitation is an opportunity for someone to experience the hope of Jesus and find a church family to call home.

Until it becomes the place where your life changed.

The place where you found healing.
Where your kids met Jesus.
Where you found community.
Where Scripture finally made sense.
Where you surrendered your life to Christ.
Where you took the step of baptism and publicly declared your faith.

Church is more than a building. It’s people. It’s transformation. It’s Jesus changing lives every single week. 🤍
