Walking by Faith by Jennifer Rothchild
September 21- November 2
With warmth, humor and insight, Jennifer shares the guiding principles she walks by and shows us how to walk forward by faith into God’s marvelous light.

God Never Gives Up on You by Max Lucado
November 9 – December 14 (Skipping 11/30)
In this five-session Bible study we will see how Jocob’s story invites us to believe in a God who sticks with the unworthy until we are safely home. God turns brokenness into blessings through his grace, mercy and relentless love.

December 14th - Bible Study starts at 6pm - Cookie Exchange at 7pm

Titus by Courtney Doctor
January 4 – March 1 (break on 2/1 for Choice Night)
Courtney Doctor explores Titus, sharing how to portray the gospel, understand its transformative power and embrace the impact of your conduct.

March 8th - Cake Kit Assembly and a Movie at 6pm

The Names of God by Kristi Mclelland, Kelly Minter and more
March 15 – May10 (Skipping 4/29)
Together we will examine names for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. we will discover the impact each of God’s names has on your relationship with Him.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study:
Our Wednesday evening Bible study will reconvene on Wednesday Sept 9th in the Youth Room. We will be studying Proverbs once again and welcome everyone to join us for an hour of friendly study, conversation and good Gospel. We learn from Scripture through shared experiences and life lessons. There are 10 of us now and we would love to have you join us. Please reach out to John Remsen with any questions.

The Adult Sunday School will be showing Bishop Héctor A. Burgos-Núñez’ episcopal address over two weeks on August 30 and September 6. During Bishop’s episcopal address at the 2026 Annual Conference session, he celebrated the many ways United Methodists across the Susquehanna Conference are rising up and loving boldly—making Christ’s love visible and tangible near and far. Your witness continues to inspire hope.

A new Sunday School series will begin Sept 20th.

Greeters Needed!

We need new Greeters for the 11:15 service! Through attrition and medical issues, we are down to three Greeters. If you can open a door, pass out bulletins and smile at your friends, you are qualified. Potential attendees need to see that same smiling face to feel welcome at our church. Greeters are essential to bring new attendees into Yorkshire. Please contact John Remsen for more information.
