Norey's Obituary

Leonora J. Lucash, 83, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Francis Lucash to whom she was married 60...

We are saddened to share that Norey Lucash passed away last night, October 25, 2026. We remember with gratitude the many lives she touched and are thankful for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

During this difficult time, we hold Fran and Norey's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. As funeral arrangements become available, we will share that information with everyone.

Please keep Norey's loved ones in your prayers in the days ahead, and may they find comfort and peace in the love and support of their church family.

Our Annual Church Conference will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 10am at Calvary United Methodist Church, 11 North Richland Ave, York. All members of Yorkshire Church are welcome to attend.

Children’s Bible Sponsors
Beginning Nov 1st we will be looking for sponsors of Bibles for our preschool children. Each Bible is $10, chose a tag from the board and put your $10 in an envelope. We will purchase Bibles in bulk using the monetary donations received. We appreciate your support!

On November 1st the Angel Tree will be in the narthex.
On the tree will be angels from New Life for Mothers and Children. Each angel will have wish list items on them. Choose an angel, purchase the gift, wrap and put the angel tag on the outside of the gift to make someone’s Christmas special! All wrapped gifts need to be returned to the church by Dec 15th.

TOMORROW is the day - TRUNK or TREAT! Join us from 10-12pm for games, crafts, food and LOTS of candy! Hope to see you there.

SAVE THE DATE! Trunk or Treat - Oct 24th from 10-12pm. We are looking for candy donations which can be placed in the bin in the narthex. We also need decorated trunks! Sign-up sheet in the narthex!
