We are Christians who are passionate about the Bible and who relate to one another in love and to others with the compassion of Jesus Christ. We are Bible preaching and teaching church that was planted in York in 1914. In November of 2014 we celebrated our 100th year Anniversary. Our desire is to glorify God by exalting Jesus Christ, love others, and reach out. We are committed to the sovereignty

of God in and over all things. We are a gospel-centered church which believes in the doctrines of grace. We are Reformed in our doctrinal distinctives. We believe in expository preaching through God's Word. Through the Holy Spirit, God uses the power of His Word to transform lives. We believe in preaching the gospel and sharing it with the lost, praying that they will repent and find salvation in Jesus Christ alone.

We are so pleased to announce that Colton and Paulina Herb had their baby! Natalia Sofia Herb Rodriguez was born on Tuesday, June 8, at 6:45 PM. She weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19.75 in long. Mother and baby are both doing well!

We are grateful to host Chase Davis at Faith Bible Fellowship Church of York as he challenges us to think deeply about what it means to be a godly man and to embrace a biblical vision of masculinity in our culture.

Drawing from themes in his book Offensive Christianity, Chase is encouraging men to reject passivity, weakness, and retreat, and instead pursue faithful, courageous leadership and obedience to Christ in every sphere of life. We appreciate his clear teaching, thoughtful engagement, and encouragement for men to stand firm in the truth, lead with conviction and humility, and love their families, churches, and neighbors well.

Thankful for Chase’s ministry and for everyone joining us for this important conversation.

This past Sunday, Pastor Daquan Gibson of One in Christ Fellowship in Elkton, MD visited our church to give a stirring reminder of the hope found in Romans 4.

Church family, this Sunday begins our Family Worship Summer!

Throughout the summer, children will join their parents in the worship service as we pause our regular preschool and elementary classes. We believe one of the best ways children learn to worship is by worshipping alongside their families and seeing the faith of the church lived out together.

The nursery room will remain open for self-service use, but it will not be staffed.

Parents, don’t stress over wiggles and whispers. Our church family is glad to worship with your children present. Church family, let’s warmly welcome and encourage our young families as we worship together this summer.

Men: Time is running out to register for this event. Make plans to join us June 2!

Men, join us Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m. for an evening of steak, fire, and conversation with pastor and author Chase Davis.

Chase serves at The Well Church in Boulder and is the author of Trinitarian Formation and the upcoming Offensive Christianity. He’ll be with us for a live Q&A focused on biblical masculinity, discipleship, and living out the faith with conviction in everyday life.

This will be a relaxed, outdoor setting with time to eat, talk, and ask questions. No long program. Just good food and meaningful conversation.
