This afternoon, some of our Youth, Bible Buddies, and congregation members gathered together to pray over our local schools as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
We want to give a special shoutout to one of our high school seniors, Seth W.! As he walked to each building on the YPA campus and prayed over the students, staff, and activities that take place from elementary through high school, it was clear how intentional and heartfelt his prayers were. Hearing the way his prayers changed to reflect the different grade levels and unique needs of each building was a beautiful reminder of the thought and care he put into each prayer.
Watching and listening to our youth pray for the year ahead and over all of our schools was truly eye-opening. It gave us a small glimpse into what they experience as students and the things that are on their hearts as they begin a new school year.
After spending time in prayer, we headed over to Vampire Penguin to enjoy a sweet treat and some wonderful fellowship together! 🍧
We are praying for every student, teacher, and staff member as they begin this new year. May it be a safe, healthy, and amazing year filled with growth, learning, and blessings! 🙏🏻
