Today, we celebrate new life.

Not perfect lives. Not perfect stories. Just people who have met Jesus and are choosing to follow Him.

At noon, we’ll gather at the water as a church family to stand beside them, pray with them, and celebrate what God is doing.

Today is Baptism Day.

Tomorrow we get to celebrate something really special.

Tomorrow, members of our Kingdom family are stepping into the water and publicly saying, “I choose Jesus.”

And we get to be there for it.

We get to stand beside them, cheer them on, pray with them, hug them when they come out of that water, and celebrate what God is doing in their lives.

That’s what being a church family is about.

If you’re not being baptized, come anyway. Come love on the people who are. Come celebrate with us. Come witness a moment they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

Baptism is one of those moments that just gets you.

It’s someone standing in front of their church family and saying, “Jesus changed my life, and I’m choosing to follow Him.”

There’s no perfect person stepping into that water. There are stories. Hard seasons. Mistakes. Healing. Grace. And a God who met each person right where they were.

The water isn’t what saves us — Jesus does. Baptism is simply a beautiful, public way of saying, I’m His.

And when someone from our Kingdom family takes that step, we get to do what family does — stand beside them, love them, and celebrate like crazy.

That’s why Saturday is so special.

We’re not just gathering at a lake.

We’re gathering to celebrate lives changed by Jesus. 🤍

And there’s nothing better than that.

Some people don’t just show up to church — they show up for people.

Curtis and Carrie are two of those people. 🤍

They’ve stepped into serving at the men’s shelter in a big way, giving their time, providing what’s needed, and loving on people exactly where they are.

If you know Curtis, you know he is a ray of light. He’ll praise God anywhere, with anybody, and he will pray over someone in a heartbeat. His love for Jesus isn’t something he keeps quiet — you see it in the way he loves and serves people.

And Carrie has a testimony that can reach places most words can’t. She’s walked through her own hard places, and she never hesitates to use what God has brought her through to encourage somebody else. There is something powerful about watching God turn someone’s story into a way of helping others find hope.

Together, they give so much of their lives to Kingdom. If something needs to be done, they’re willing. If somebody needs help, they’re there. They serve because they genuinely love people and love Jesus.

Curtis & Carrie — thank you for having servants’ hearts. Thank you for loving people well. And thank you for being part of what makes Kingdom feel like family.

There’s something so special about watching someone publicly say, “I belong to Jesus.”

This Saturday at noon, we’ll gather together for Baptisms on the Lake — celebrating new life, changed hearts, and the goodness of God.

Whether you’re being baptized or you’re simply coming to stand beside someone who is, we’d love for you to be there.
