On the Feast of Pentecost, Sunday, May 31, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion ordained Michael Habashi to the rank of Full Deacon under the name Deacon Basil Habashi for the Diocese of Los Angeles, serving at St. Mary & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church in Yorba Linda, California.
His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos also participated in the ordination.
May God bless every work for the glory of His holy name.
