وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ
الْمُسْلِمِينَ

“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.”

Andalusia Islamic Center engages children, youth, and adults through educational, spiritual, recreational, and social activities. Our core values are faith, service, and justice. AIC facilitates programs that not only educate their attendees but create an environment of unity and kinship. Regardless of gender, race, color, or political affiliation, Andalusia Islamic Center strives to create a dynamic, coexisting society.

It is recorded in the authentic Sunnah—specifically in the narration from Abdullah ibn ‘Amr—that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fast one day and break the fast the next; that is the fasting of David (peace be upon him), and it is the best form of fasting." I said, "I am capable of doing more than that," to which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "There is nothing better than that." This was narrated by Al-Bukhari. Regarding the Prophet’s statement, "The most beloved fasting to Allah is the fasting of David," Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) remarked that this implies absolute superiority.

في الصحيح عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وذلك في قوله عن عبد الله بن عمرو .. فصم يوما وأفطر يوما فذلك صيام داود عليه السلام وهو أفضل الصيام، فقلت: إني أطيق أفضل من ذلك، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا أفضل من ذلك. رواه البخاري. قال ابن حجر -رحمه الله- في قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أحب الصيام إلى الله صيام داود. قال: يقتضي ثبوت الأفضلية مطلقا. انتهى.

The funeral prayer for Sister Zainab Mutlaq (Umm Salah), wife of Adnan Al-Mashayekh (Abu Salah), will be held tomorrow at the time of the Dhuhr prayer, 1:30 PM,
at Al-Andalusia Islamic Center. Condolences will be received after the Maghrib prayer, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at the Andalusia Islamic Center,

O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, grant her well-being, and pardon her. Grant her a home better than her home and a family better than her family, and make her grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise. I ask you all to pray for the deceased, asking for Allah's mercy upon her.

"يا أَيَّنُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُظْمِيِنَّةُ ارْجِعِي إِلى رَبِّكِ راضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبادِي وَ ادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي"
بقلوب مؤمنة وبقضاء اللّٰه وقدره، انتقلت إلى رحمة اللّٰه تعالى أم صلاح أسأل اللّٰه أن يغفر لها ويرحمها رحمة واسعة، وأن يجعل ما أصابها تكفيرًا ورفعةً لدرجاتها، وأن يسكنها الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة.
اللهم اغفر لها وارحمها وعافها واعف عنها، وأبدلها دارًا خيرًا من دارها وأهلًا خيرًا من أهلها، واجعل قبرها روضةً من رياض الجنة.
