Happy Mother's Day to every mother, grandmother, godmother, and every woman who has poured herself into the life of a child. We honor you today.

This morning at Institutional, we were reminded that praise is not something we wait to feel — it is something we choose to do. We heard from Hebrews 13:15 and Psalm 34:1-3 in Part 6 of our series: This Changes Everything. The message: This Changes Our Praise.

Paul and Silas praised at midnight, before the earthquake, before the freedom. Hannah praised before she ever held Samuel. The women at the tomb were the first to carry the news of resurrection. Praise is not a response to the victory. Praise is how we get there.
