Thank you to all the pastors, religious education directors, Catholic school leaders, and parents who joined the Liturgy Office on Saturday, October 25, for “Celebrating First Sacraments with Children” at St. Joseph’s Seminary. It was a truly meaningful day of learning and inspiration for more than 80 participants!

We were honored to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Donna Eschenauer and workshop leaders Fr. Matthew Ernest, S.T.D., Diana Pizarro, and Sarah Jane Starcher Germani, who shared best practices for planning joyful, reverent, and meaningful sacramental celebrations for our youngest Catholics.
Together, participants explored liturgy planning, music selection, engaging families, and honoring diverse cultural traditions—strengthening our archdiocesan community and enriching every child’s experience of the sacraments.

Save the Date: Join us on Saturday, March 7, for the Day of Prayer and Reflection for Liturgical Ministers. More details coming soon!
