There are few things in life that can be as emotionally complex as family. At times, family can be a comforting presence during difficult seasons; at other times, family relationships can be the source of those difficulties.

Through the examples and teachings found in the Bible, God encourages us as family to support one another, extend forgiveness, and choose to love one another each day.

Join us this month as we explore Scripture that encourages us to grow in love within our families, both in our individual households and as members of the body of Christ.

A Christian's hope is more than just positive outlook/optimism or the expectation that life will soon improve. Throughout Scripture, faithful people often held on to hope while facing long seasons of uncertainty, hardship, and unanswered prayers. Their confidence rested not on changing conditions, but on who God is.

This month, let us reflect on Scriptures about hope and its connection to our faith. As we do, may our confidence grow in the assurance that, through Christ, victory is ours because His character is unchanging and His faithfulness never fails.

The body of Christ, the Church, is and has been under persistent attack. Satan and his army of demons are constantly seeking to “steal, kill, and destroy” the work and workers of Christ. Therefore, we must remain vigilant in our daily defense, always prepared to protect ourselves and those around us.

Thankfully, we have been equipped with spiritual tools and have access to training that prepares us for daily battle. This month’s calendar includes scriptures that remind us of the preparation we need, encourage us to remain aware of the ongoing battle, and point us to the tools God has given us to secure our victory.

Just as I know from God’s Word that I will face tough times, I also know He will provide the strength I need. I hold firm to His promises and remind myself of the times He has fought my battles, allowing me to experience the victory.

Join us this month as we study Scriptures that remind us to draw near to the Lord, for He alone is our strength.
