Today is the National Day of Prayer.
In a world filled with uncertainty, division, conflict, and hurting people, we believe prayer still matters. Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray “for kings and all who are in authority.” Today we invite our church family and community to spend time praying for our nation, our leaders, and our neighbors.
There are 100 different ways you could pray today, but here are just a few specific ways we can seek the Lord together:
-Pray for our little town of Yoncalla, Oregon
-Pray for wisdom and integrity for our mayor and city council
-Pray for our school board, teachers, staff, and students
-Pray for protection over our children and families
-Pray for local law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders
-Pray for unity in our churches and revival in our community
-Pray for those battling addiction, depression, loneliness, and hopelessness
-Pray for marriages to be strengthened and restored
-Pray for the elderly, the sick, and those grieving loss
-Pray for small businesses, farmers, truck drivers, and workers trying to provide for their families
-Pray for our state leaders and national leaders to seek wisdom and righteousness
-Pray for peace in places of war and conflict around the world
-Pray especially for the growing tensions and suffering connected to Iran and the Middle East
-Pray for missionaries, persecuted Christians, and those boldly sharing the Gospel worldwide
-Pray for the next generation to know truth and follow Jesus
Most importantly, pray that hearts would turn to Christ.
The 2026 National Day of Prayer theme is:
“Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations” — 1 Chronicles 16:24
No prayer is too small. No person is beyond God’s reach.
If you have a prayer request feel free to leave it in the comments or message us privately. We would be honored to pray for you today.
