Meet Lexa Osmotherly! Lexa is a member is the worship team and will be helping with registration and however else her mom decides her services are needed during the conference!

Lexa Osmotherly is a member of the worship team. Lexa is a 22-year-old nursing student with a heart for serving others, both in healthcare and through worship. You might say medicine is in her blood—one of her sisters is an optometrist, and both her mom and another sister are nurses. As the fifth of six children, her siblings would be quick to tell you she’s the “spoiled one”—though she might have a different opinion!

When she’s not studying or working, Lexa loves spending time with her sweet boyfriend Tito. She loves him almost as much as her wiener dog Benny! Lexa also loves to hang out with her nieces and nephews, they are some of her favorite people on the planet. Having grown up singing in church while her father played guitar, worship has always been a meaningful part of her life, and she’s grateful for every opportunity to use her voice to glorify God.

Meet Jennifer Castro, another one of the incredibly talented members of our worship team! She and her husband have a music ministry in Torrington, Wyoming you all should check out!

I was born and raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began playing guitar and singing at the age of five, and what started as a childhood passion grew into a lifelong calling.

From the early 1990s into the early 2000s, I spent several years as a touring musician, performing with a bar band throughout the midwest. In 2001, my husband and I were married and began our family, and our lives soon took a much deeper direction when we came to know the Lord in 2002.

Since then, music has taken on an entirely new meaning for me. I have been blessed to use my gifts in guitar, drumming and singing to serve the Kingdom through worship and ministry. While living in Minnesota, my husband and I started New Song Ministries, a music outreach ministry born out of our desire to share the love of Jesus through music. We eventually moved back to the Scottsbluff Valley with the hope of bringing that ministry home with us.

New Song Ministries continues to this day in Torrington, Wyoming, and it remains a meaningful part of our lives and our desire to serve God and others through music.

My husband and I are also proud parents of two amazing young men. Faith, family and music, have shaped who I am, and I am thankful for every opportunity to use the gifts God has given me to encourage others and serve His Kingdom.

Meet Tami Hughson! We are blessed to have such a multi-talented musician leading our worship team!

Tami Hughson is a singer, songwriter, and seasoned worship leader who has been sharing her gift of music for most of her life. Beginning her musical journey at age 7 and writing songs by age 14, Tami brings over 30 years of worship leading experience to the stage. Beyond her music ministry, she is a school teacher in Harrison, Nebraska, and a cowgirl who works alongside her husband on their ranch in South Dakota. Together with her family, she also ministers by leading a Cowboy Church service every Wednesday evening in Edgemont, South Dakota.

Throughout her career, Tami has performed in regional bands, opened for national acts like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, played for Richard Petty’s Ride Across America, and been inducted into the Nebraska Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. Today, she stays active in her local music scene playing keys, fiddle, guitar, and singing with the band Sale Barn Pie.

Tami’s passion for ministry extends deep into the church family—she has served as a Sunday School Superintendent, written VBS and Sunday School curricula, and had her original worship songs recorded by independent artists and sung in churches across the region. A frequent speaker and performer at women's events, Tami is honored to lead worship and minister through song and story today.
