Fulfilling their Lenten Promise ✝️

For 40 days, our 1st grade students focused on filling up their Lenten Jelly Bean jar through acts of kindness.

🔴 Red is the blood Jesus gave us. Each morning choose something to sacrifice that day.

🟢 Green is for the palm’s cool shade. Earn a green bean for every good deed.

🟡 Yellow is for God‘s light. Earn a yellow bean by sharing God‘s light through kindness.

🟠 Orange is for prayers at twilight. Earn an orange bean for remembering your bedtime prayers.

⚫️ Black is for a sweet rest at night. Earn a black bean by going to bed with a good attitude.

🟣 Purple is for forgiveness and each new tomorrow. Earn a purple bean by apologizing for hurt words or actions.

🩷 Pink is for a new tomorrow. Earn a pink bean by forgiving those who hurt us.

Each day, the students would add jelly beans to the jar, using the colors to represent their good deeds. Now that Easter has come, and our Lord is Risen, the students added white jelly beans to their Jelly Bean jar - symbolizing God’s grace that is a gift which fills our lives and makes us complete.

THANK YOU MSGR. BRUCE! 😊

On Thursday, our students and staff gathered to celebrate our final all-school Mass with Monsignor Bruce. As he prepares for his transition to St. Anne’s next week, we wanted to thank him for his dedicated service to St. Aloysius.

Following Mass, our school community shared donuts and juice, presented a farewell banner, and gifted Monsignor with handmade cards filled with heartfelt messages and well wishes. We were also honored to offer two special Mass intentions in his name - one in June celebrating his 42nd ordination anniversary, and another in October in honor of his birthday.

As a token of our appreciation, Monsignor received a personalized coffee mug featuring a special memory from our “Blessing of the Pets” day.

We are deeply grateful for Monsignor Bruce‘s presence, leadership, and care for our school community. We wish him many blessings in this next chapter at St. Anne’s!

🎉 🎉 Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Nikki Thompson as this year’s “Christ the Teacher” Award recipient!

Mrs. Thompson was recognized this week at the You Can Lend a Hand Luncheon for her 27 years of dedication to the mission of Catholic education.

✝️ Mrs. Thompson is a foundational pillar of our school community who transcends the role of an instructor by inspiring and nurturing the youth of our school community every day.

✝️ A lifelong learner, she eagerly embraces and implements the latest best practices in education, while her classroom exudes an energy of contagious learning.

✝️ Mrs. Thompson‘s commitment to guiding students in their faith and participation at Mass is a testament to her servant‘s heart.

We are so blessed to have Mrs. Thompson as part of St. Aloysius Catholic School and thank her for all that she brings to the depth of our curriculum and to the growth of our future leaders!

Congratulations Mrs. Thompson!

This Lenten season reminds us of the ultimate act of love and sacrifice—Jesus giving His life for others. ❤️

As a school community, we embraced this message by giving back through service this week. Our students spent time at Community Harvest Food Bank, sharing kindness through handcrafted bags for homebound members of the community and helping restock shelves for those in need.

More than just a service project, this week’s field trip was a powerful reminder to put others first and let Jesus’ love shine through.
