New Life Baptist Church was founded on November 7, 1999, under the leadership of God, and placed under the care of Rev. God began His purpose using this body of believers many years ago, and is co
ntinually changing us and helping us to grow. What you see now as New Life Baptist Church began as a merge of two churches known as Immanuel Baptist Church, and Faith Baptist Church. Immanuel Baptist Church was founded on January 1999 and was originally a mission of First Baptist Church of Yoakum. We saw God move mightily in this church, however the building was in desperate need of repair which caused us to seek to either rebuild or relocate which opened the way for us to merge with Faith Baptist Church. Faith Baptist was founded on December 5, 1963. God continued to give His people a great sense of purpose and hope. However, being few in number, and without a full time pastor, considered the merge with great excitement and anticipation. It was at this time that God showed His awesome power and purpose by uniting the two bodies as one. Today we stand together proclaiming His Truth to the community, cities, nation and the world that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
