✝️ A Beautiful Piece of Holy Cross History ✝️

This beautiful handmade cross was lovingly crafted by Donald Prause using wood from the original 1893 Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

What a special way to preserve a piece of our church’s history and keep it as a reminder of the faith, worship, and generations of people who came before us. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Donald Prause for creating this beautiful cross and for helping preserve a treasured piece of Holy Cross history for generations to come.

We truly appreciate the time, craftsmanship, and thoughtfulness that went into this special gift. ✝️

🍂 A Blessed Afternoon of Faith & Fellowship 🍂
The ladies of LCW enjoyed a beautiful afternoon filled with crafting, laughter, refreshments, and Christian fellowship as we created decoupage pumpkins.
As the thunder rolled outside and the rain fell, we paused to pray and give thanks to God for His many blessings. ⛈️🙏 We are grateful for the gift of friendship, fellowship, and the opportunity to grow together in faith. ❤️
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1 🙏🍁

Lord, we thank You for the beautiful rain.
Thank You for refreshing the earth, blessing our land, and reminding us of Your faithfulness and provision.
May we always recognize Your blessings and give You all the glory.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6
Amen.

For Parents:
Each week, your student will bring home a "Take It Home" sheet designed to help keep the conversation going. It includes:
-A Discussion Question: A targeted prompt to ask your child to help them remember and articulate the week's key takeaway.
-A Home Activity: A fun, simple exercise to reinforce the lesson together as a family.
Thanks for being on this journey with us as we point their hearts toward Jesus.

This season, we’re focusing on THE BIG TRUTHS — the foundational things we want every child to carry with them as they grow in faith.
Sunday’s truth reminds students that Jesus loves them and wants them close to Him. That simple truth shapes everything we teach and every moment we spend with your children.
Thanks for being on this journey with us as we point their hearts toward Jesus.
