‼️We need your help!

🍔Our burger fundraiser is this Thursday, 4/23, and we are planning to make 800 plates. We usually rely on donations of individually bagged cookies and/or brownies to include in our meal and according to our sign-up, we are only halfway to our goal!

🍪Would you be willing to bless us with your homemade goodies? Please comment here and let us know how many dozen individually bagged items you can bring by.

📍They can be dropped off at the New Life Baptist Church office from 9-4 tomorrow, 4/22, or at the Yoakum Community Center Cook Shack Thursday morning, 4/23.

🙌🏻We are so appreciative of all the support we receive in order to continue doing mission work both locally and in Mexico! To God be the glory!

Mission trip update:

Day 3 was full of bagging family meals and delivering them throughout the village of Nuevo Sabanillas. The team, along with local pastor Ygnacio Coronado Castillo, met with groups of villagers during the day to give a message, pray, and distribute the food. The day ended with Brother Adam Jaquez of New Life Baptist Church leading a service at the church.

Mission team update: they have made it to the first village, Nuevo Sabanilla, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico!

They first stopped in Saltillo at the market to load up the trailer with literally tons of non-perishable food items like rice, beans, corn meal, flour, oil, sugar, shelf-stable milk, & coffee to deliver to the villagers as pre-portioned and bagged Christmas meals. This gives the team an opportunity to go to each villagers home to deliver the package, build a relationship, and share Christ’s love with them in a personal way.

Please continue to pray for them!

Please be in prayer for our mission team that’s headed to minister to three remote desert mountain villages in Coahuila, Mexico. Pray for travel mercies, safe passage, and changed hearts!

It was a pleasure getting to know Mike & Jan and encouraging them as they serve those who served us - our veterans! The hill country is still in need of support, and we were humbled by the stories of community and God’s provision in people’s lives.

Thank you to those who have given to make trips like these possible!

Thanks to the help of the Don G. Kaspar Foundation, we are able to serve a member of our community in need and make some repairs to her home!
