Being part of Seed Faith’s mission work is truly special to us. Just a week after we got married nearly 19 years ago, our first mission opportunity together began in Tijuana, Mexico. God has always placed a calling on our hearts for the mission field.
After serving as youth ministers in our local church for eight years, we began to ask whether we were truly called to the mission field—or called to serve God here in the local church. Then doors opened for us to serve in Central America, Southeast Asia, and Uganda. It became clear to us God had a unique calling on our lives: to serve Him together in His timing.
As we stepped into leadership with Seed Faith Ministries, He has continued to give us both incredible opportunities and real challenges—and He has been with us every step of the way. For me, it’s meant working in our local church in different roles. For Amy, it’s meant teaching at our church’s Christian school. And for both of us, it has included serving as missionaries in Uganda. Each part looks different, but together it shows how God has uniquely shaped our calling.
Not everyone’s “calling” looks the same. Comparison can quietly kill ministries. So stay faithful—serve Him in the way He’s asking you to serve, and be faithful with what He has given you.
