Holy Smokes!

Our fellowship Dinner this month will feature barbecue and all the fixin’s delivered from Holy Smokes Barbecue in Mountain Home! Plenty of napkins will be provided!



Church Library

In case you didn’t know – our church has a wonderful collection of inspirational books, both fiction and non-fiction. The books are located in the large bookcase in the room adjoining the sanctuary. Checking out books is on the honor system. Feel free to borrow books as you like!



From A Child’s Viewpoint



The Sunday School teacher asks the children to draw Christmas pictures. She goes over to one student and sees he’s drawn a picture of four people on an airplane.



“What is this?” she asked.

“Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus on a flight to Egypt,” he says.

“Well… who’s the fourth person?”

“That’s Pontius, the pilot.”

What a beautiful break from the heat! God is so good!

Bro. A.J. Barrett will be bringing the message this week after our song service and weekly observance of The Lord's Supper.

Our Church Board is scheduled to meet following Morning Worship and the Ladies Ministry will also meet.

Our prayer list seems to get longer each week. Please remember to lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer.

It's a busy time at Main Street Church! Our Lunch Bunch will gather at Pizza Hut tomorrow at 11:30 am!

Sunday morning, following our song service and weekly observance of the Lord's Supper, Bro. Tim Baylor will bring the message. Then, afterwards, we will feast on fried chicken and all the fixin's!

Saturday, August 1st will be our giveaway day for shoes, jackets, and miscellaneous items for area children. The giveaway will begin at 9:00 am. The Yellville Church of Christ on N. Panther Ave will be giving away backpacks that same day.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 and Morning Worship begins at 10:45. Hope to see YOU there!

Speaking of fellowship, tomorrow is our monthly fellowship dinner following Morning Worship! This month, the menu will be potluck as our congregation will show off their culinary skills with a variety of dishes sure to please!

We are also beefing up our supply of shoes for the back-to-school giveaway which will be held af a later date to be announced. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the dads out there! A Christian dad is a blessing to his home, his children, his church, and his community! May God bless each of you!

This month's fellowship dinner will be at noon on June 28th. This month we are having a good old-fashioned potluck featuring the culinary talents of our congregation, so mark your calendars! We have some excellent cooks at Main Street Church!

In honor of Fathers Day, our monthly fellowship dinner on the 28th will feature good old home cooking from our very own congregation! We have some talented cooks at Main Street Church so you won't want to miss it!

It's always great to worship at Main Street Church! Bro. A.J. Barrett will be bringing the message tomorrow morning following our song service and observance of the Lord's Supper. After Morning Worship, the church board will hold its monthly meeting and the Ladies Ministry will also meet.

The Ladies Lunch Bunch will meet on the 19th at 11:30 at Little B's in Mountain Home, and the monthly fellowship dinner will be on the 28th at noon. In honor of Fathers Day, this month's fellowship dinner will be home-cooked potluck, so our ladies will have a great opportunity to show off their culinary skills!

Another Sunday is upon us and hopefully we won't need an ark to get to church!

Our speaker tomorrow will be Tim Baylor, and following Morning Worship, we will enjoy our monthly fellowship dinner. Tomorrow's feast will include fried chicken and all the fixin's that go with it!

The Ladies Lunch Bunch will get together June 19th at Little B's!

Let us remember to pray for each other, lift each other up, and bear each other's burdens. A load is never so heavy when more than one person carries it.
