The Thorn in the Flesh

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to [a]buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Come join us at The Church of God of Prophecy, located at 100 Graball Freerun Rd,Yazoo City, MS. You’ll be with brothers and sisters in Christ who love our Lord and Savior. We believe in worship and praise and walking in The Holy Spirit’s presence. All are welcome. Introducing our Pastor, Matt Clark, and his wonderful First Lady, Wanda Clark.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM.
Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 AM.
Children’s Church also begins at 10:30PM.
Food and fellowship begins immediately after morning service ends.

Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Bible study begins at 6:30 PM.

Saturday evenings at 6:30 PM is our CrossLife Recovery meeting for all who need encouragement and support with life’s daily struggles.

We are reaching out to our community, offering support and love to anyone needing help during this time of struggle and hardship and perhaps some loneliness.

Mark your calendars:

November 23rd, our church Thanksgiving Dinner will be served after the morning service.

November 23rd, our church will host our Community Thanksgiving Service, at 5:00 that evening.

December 14th, for our church members and anyone who wishes to be a church member, we will hold our Church Christmas Party at 4:00 PM. Finger foods and a Dirty Santa game will be part of the festivities. Please remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.

December 21st, our church will have our Christmas CrossLife program during the Sunday morning service.
