As we come to the end of another wonderful year of Godly Play and the first year of Young Disciples, we’re filled with gratitude for the community that has grown around our children and youth.

This year, 16 incredible adult volunteers faithfully shared stories, held sacred space, and accompanied our young people as they wondered together about God, God’s story, and God’s work in the world. Through questions, conversation, creativity, and curiosity, our children explored faith in ways that honored both their imaginations and their insights.

For our final gathering before summer break, we celebrated with a spirited trivia game, exploring our memories of the stories we’ve encountered throughout the year. Then it was off to the pool for an afternoon of laughter, play, and simply being together.

What a beautiful and full weekend at St. Andrew’s.

Around tables, at the pool, and out in the community, we experienced the many ways that belonging takes shape.

🌈 Members of our LGBTQ+ community gathered for food, conversation, and connection.

✨ Women of the parish shared stories from the seasons of their lives and made bracelets to mark and remember moments of joy.

🏊‍♀️ Our children and their families celebrated the end of the school year with a pool party filled with laughter and fun.

🤝 And some of us attended Night to Nourish, supporting organizations—including IFA—that care for the most vulnerable in our community.

Different gatherings. Different stories. One community seeking to love God and our neighbors well.

What a wonderful evening at Yardley Pride!

It was a joy to gather with friends old and new to celebrate the raising of the Pride flag and to stand alongside our community in support, welcome, and belonging. Thank you to everyone who came out and wore your St. Andrew’s Pride shirts, helping us witness to God’s love for all.

A special thank you to Diane for organizing a group dinner afterward—good food, great conversation, and a perfect way to end the evening.

Community, connection, laughter, and love. A great night all around. 🌈

Join us THIS Sunday, June 7, for worship, our Annual Meeting, and the Parish Picnic!

At our Annual Meeting, we'll celebrate all God has been doing in and through St. Andrew's, reflect on the year behind us, elect new vestry members, and look ahead to where God is leading us next.

Then it's time to party! Head across the street for a bounce house and slide, great food, games, and plenty of time to enjoy one another's company.

📅 Sunday, June 7
⛪ 9:00am Worship & Annual Meeting

As we come close to the end of another Godly Play year, we’re noticing just how much our kids — and all of us — have grown together.

We’re so grateful for this safe and sacred space where children can explore faith, ask big questions, and wonder together about God and God’s work in the world.

A special thank you to the many adults who have volunteered their time, presence, and care to accompany our kids in their spiritual formation this year. Your listening, storytelling, patience, and love matter deeply.

What a gift it has been to grow together in curiosity, community, and faith.

What a gift to be at the St. James School Gala last night!

Again and again, we heard the reminder that all it takes is one small spark — one person willing to show up, care deeply, and believe in possibility — to ignite something beautiful. From that spark, lives are nurtured, families are supported, communities are strengthened, and people are empowered to carry their own light into the world.

We left inspired by the extraordinary work of and grateful for all those whose faithfulness continues to create spaces where others can grow and thrive.

This summer, we’re experimenting with music and liturgy during our 11am contemplative service — creating space for beauty, stillness, prayer, and reflection in new ways.

We were grateful to welcome harpist Cheryl Dungan Cunningham this past Sunday, whose music helped shape a deeply peaceful and prayerful morning. Here’s a small snippet from the service.
