In a world that constantly pressures us to fit in, blend in, and go with the flow, following Jesus will inevitably make us stand out. The truth is, we were never called to be normal—we were called to be transformed. And that might just make us weirdos.
Throughout this series, we’ll explore what it means to live as people who don’t quite “fit” in the world—and why that’s actually a good thing. From how we think, to how we love, to how we respond to pressure and culture, we’ll discover that being different isn’t something to avoid—it’s evidence of a life changed by Jesus.
If living for Christ makes you look like a weirdo to the world… you’re probably doing it right.

In a world that constantly pressures us to fit in, following Jesus will often make us stand out.

This Sunday at Union Church, we're continuing our study through 1 Peter and discovering why living for Christ can make us look a little "weird" to the world around us—and why that's actually a good thing.

If you've ever felt out of place because of your faith, this message is for you.

Join us this Sunday as we learn how to live boldly, faithfully, and differently in a culture that wants us to blend in.

Come as you are. Bring a friend. We can't wait to worship with you!
See you at 10:00 or 11:30!!

Something new is starting this Sunday at church, and you’re invited.

We’re launching a brand new series with Pastor Matt called “Weirdo”—a look at what it really means to be different, to stand out, and to live with purpose in a world that often pushes us to blend in.

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit, or like following Jesus makes you stand out in ways that feel uncomfortable or misunderstood, this series is for you.

Join us this Sunday as we begin this conversation together. Come expectant, come as you are, and let’s discover the beauty of being set apart.

See you Sunday.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the power of selfless love.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also lift up the families of the fallen in prayer and gratitude.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May God bless and comfort all who mourn, and may we never forget those who served with courage and honor. 🇺🇸

We live in a world constantly asking us to define ourselves.
I am tired. I am broken. I am afraid. I am not enough.

Into our questions, doubts, and deepest longings, Jesus speaks seven bold statements in the Gospel of John—each beginning with two powerful words: I AM. These declarations reveal not only who Jesus is, but who we are meant to be when our lives are anchored in Him.

Our cries of “I am empty” are met with “I am the bread of life.”
Our pleas of “I am lost” are answered with “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

In this eight-week journey, we will discover how Jesus’ identity reshapes our own and how every fear, doubt, and pain finds its answer in Him. When Jesus says I AM, He reveals Himself as everything we need.
