After the sorrow of the cross, the world feels quiet. The disciples sat in grief and uncertainty. Holding loss, fear, and unanswered questions. It is a day without resolution, a space between heartbreak and hope.

And yet… this is not the end of the story.

Even in the silence, God is at work. Even in the waiting, resurrection is drawing near.

We bear witness to Christ’s suffering. His body broken, his love poured out, his life given for the sake of the world. There is no triumph here without first facing the weight of this moment. No rushing past the sorrow. No turning away from the cost.

In silence and reverence, we remember.

“Do this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19

Tonight, we gather around the table.

On this holy night, we remember Jesus sharing a meal with his disciples, offering bread and cup, love and commandment. A night marked by humility, service, and the deep call to love one another as Christ loves us.

As we enter this sacred moment, we are invited not just to remember, but to receive. To come to the table with open hands and open hearts.

Join us this evening at Central Lutheran Church at 7:00 PM as we worship, share in Holy Communion, and begin the journey to the cross together.
