I'm sure most know this scripture: Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepard, I shall not want.
Have you ever noticed how often we are referred to as sheep? Why sheep? They are dumb! Why not something cool like a cobra, or a Lion? Anything but a dumb, stinky sheep!
But think about it. If you are going to take a ride through the valley are you going to ride a sheep? If you are going to hike up the mountain are you going to use a sheep to carry all your gear? Nope!
Sheep are not load bearing creatures and neither are you. The Lord is your Shepard. The Lord takes care of His sheep. And we are not made to carrry anything. Not the weight of the world and the state it is in. Not the weight of your life circumstances.
We are suppiose to give that to Jesus because He is a good Shepard. When you under stand this scripture how can you sit there and worry? A Shepard feeds His sheep, cares for them, and protects them.
Trust your Shepard with whatever you are going through. Because He has all you need and so much more.

Has it ever occurred to you that nothing has ever just occured to God?
He's got this. He does not abandon us, He knows our every move, our every mistake, and loves us none the less. He has a plan for us, we just need to follow Him.
If you are a person, like me, who likes to know the next move, the next plan, and the reasons why, it can sometimes be a challenge to not know what is in the playbook. This is where faith comes into play. I know God holds that playbook, and as coach He just needs us to listen to Him and follow His directions....and oh what a great party we will have to celebrate the WIN!

I think back about how paying bills included stamps, envelopes and snail mail...remember that? I just paid the electric bill, gas bill and and insurance in less than 5 minutes...all online. In the next two weeks I will go in and finish out the other bills maybe using a total of 10 minutes for the whole month. Boy we have it easy now don't we!
Did you know that you can tithe online as well? I constantly forget to take out cash to bring to church for the offering...and I just bet I am not the only one. Today I decided to find out exactly how easy the online process was through our church website. I set up an account and sent money in less than 5 minutes. I could choose a one time transaction, or set up reoccuring giving-- at the pace and amount that fits my needs. How easy is that?!?!

I keep getting convicted when I reflect on how Inconvienenced I can be when it comes to worship...... Having service back to mornings is far more convienent for me.... giving on line when it is convienent really works for me. That's a difficult reflection.

Lord, draw us to you. Place on our hearts areas we need to repent---not just asking for forgiveness but turning away from those ways and turning towards you. Lord we ask that you bless the finances of the church as well as in our homes. Remind us of your promises. Guide us to be your hands and feet. Father we love and trust you, AMEN!
