Dear Community and Friends:

As many of you learned over the weekend Amalia del Pozo, our Spanish language director of religious education for Saint Joseph Parish in Kennewick died on Friday.

Amalia served the parish for 25 years. She also supported our Diocesan Church Mission Congress as well as our routine delegations from the diocese of Yakima to the annual religious education congresses in Anaheim California sponsored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Please pray for her, her friends, family and fellow parishioners at this time of loss.

Funeral plans are still pendhing, but we wanted to notify everyone of this sad news.

Como muchos de ustedes aprendieron durante el fin de semana, Amalia del Pozo, nuestra directora de educación religiosa en español para la parroquia de Saint Joseph en Kennewick, murió el viernes.

Amalia sirvió a la parroquia durante 25 años. También apoyó nuestro Congreso de Misión de la Iglesia Diocesana, así como nuestras delegaciones de rutina de la diócesis de Yakima a los congresos anuales de educación religiosa en Anaheim, California, patrocinados por la Arquidiócesis de Los Ángeles.

Ore por ella, sus amigos, familiares y feligreses en este momento de pérdida.
