This Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating two more individuals as they publicly declared their faith in Jesus and took their next step of obedience through baptism.

The gospel doesn’t just forgive your past. It also transforms your present.

Galatians 5:13-26 reminds us that freedom in Christ is not permission to live however we want — it’s freedom from the chains of sin, selfishness, and the flesh.

Because rules may change behavior for a moment, but only the Spirit of God can change your heart.

So the question is: What kind of fruit is your life producing?

Galatians 4:21–5:12 reminds us that the gospel doesn’t just forgive us — it frees us.

We are from trying to earn what Jesus already accomplished. Which mean you are a child of promise, not a child of performance.

So the question is: Are you living in freedom, or putting the chains back on?
