We are a congregation called to:

•Reach a variety of generations with worship that proclaims the eternal Good News of Jesus Christ in a way that is clear and compelling;

•Provide a network of opportunities where people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and become active in their service of Christ in the ministries of the church and out in the community;

•Respond to the Holy Spir

it by equipping the people of God for the ministry of sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, and visiting the lonely. At Yadkinville UMC, every member is in ministry! It is our prayer that you will find joy, grace, encouragement, challenging truth, and the living God all around you.

Yadkinville United Methodist Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Traditional Music to lead our music ministry as we worship, experiment, and prayerfully grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Yadkinville United Methodist Church is a warm and loving congregation open to all people.

As the Director of Traditional Music, you’ll be responsible for leading our choir, selecting music for the traditional service, participating in the planning of Sunday worship and other special services through out the year. We know that one of the ways people connect to God through worship is the music, and we are looking for someone who can help the congregation grow in understanding the Christian faith through music and music’s role in the faith, develop and strengthen their relationship with God, and become better equipped for daily living as faithful Christian disciples.
