Meet our Pastor:
Will Hamric has been the pastor at First Baptist since September 2021. Prior to that he served as Senior Pastor of Richmond Hill Baptist Church in Boonville for 25 years. During those years the church added full-time staff, built a Family Life Center, and began a contemporary service in the F.L.C when the traditional service became over-crowded. His wife, Ginger, began Upward Spor

ts at that church. Before coming to Yadkin County, he was pastor of Kerrs Creek Baptist Church in Lexington, Virginia. During those eight years, attendance tripled, and the church built and paid for a new Fellowship Hall with additional nursery and educational space. Pastor Will graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC with a Masters of Divinity.
