Our series "Knowing God" continues this Sunday as we explore "The God of Priorities." Most of us work or have worked for someone and knowing their priorities is critical to job performance. If you know the organization's priorities, you'll know where and how to focus your efforts, and what should be left undone. You'll make decisions based on what is critical to the mission.

Did you know that God clearly provides us with FIVE of His most critical priorities in His Word? Join us tomorrow at 10:30 for a time of worship and realignment with God's Priorities.

Who Is???

With the continued growth of our fellowship, we are continuing to highlight individuals who serve our congregation, helping others to know what role or roles they play. Today, we highlight Brad Albertini.

Brad has literally been a part of Xenia Bethel Community Church all his life! From the early years as a mischievous kid who was (and still is) a fun loving jokester to now overseeing our Trustees, he has always had a heart for Xenia Bethel Community Church. In his role as Trustee, he serves as a member of our church board and is responsible for the oversight of our facilities. He and his team are constantly working to improve and enhance our grounds, both inside and out.

In addition to his fun, loving and jovial nature, Brad has a heart of compassion and a willingness to serve in nearly any capacity and in nearly any way. Whether it's helping to spread mulch, paint, set up tables and chairs, tear down the stage, or help someone in need, Brad is a dependable servant whose joy reflects the Jesus he serves.

Most recently, and perhaps somewhat unintentionally, he launched our "Pickleball Ministry" which is a time of fun and fellowship held most Monday evenings and which everyone is invited to attend.

Brad is married Lori Albertini and he helps her in serving our youth.. They have two children, Elizabeth and Colton. Brad is the managing partner of Wick Industrial Tools.

We hope these posts will help you come to know more about the church and those who serve it and you and that they will serve as a prompt to be praying for those serving among us.

MICRO MOMENTS

It's always so fun to watch our body of believers fellowship together in these "micro moments" put together by Christy Howard. Not a full blown "event," but short, amazingly planned, but unexpected, opportunities for connecting. Come join us!

REFLECTION MOMENTS. . .
. . I spend a lot of time thinking about the growth of our church body. That doesn't only equate to numbers, although they are a consideration, but I think about our growth as a family of believers in Christ.

Ephesians 4:16 say: "from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

It's been a beautiful thing to watch God create a body. Every "joint" supplying what the body needs, working together, resulting in a growth and building up of the body in love!

For instance, how likely is it to have a church where 20% of the attendees play musical instruments? Add to that another nearly 20% that are gifted to lead us in worship! That is God building up the body on steroids!

I somewhat jokingly made the comment today that before long, we're going to have more people on stage leading worship than people in the congregation. I loved the enthusiasm expressed by one of our newer attendees when she said, slapping the table in front of her, "Well, then we're going to have to go out and bring some more people in here!" Again, building up the body!

There are many special places to worship God... I'm so grateful that Xenia Bethel Community Church is one of them!

Who Is???

With the continued growth of our fellowship, we are continuing to highlight individuals who serve our congregation, helping others to know what role or roles they play. Today, we highlight Teresa Albertini.

Teresa has been a fixture of Xenia Bethel Community Church for 43 years and has witnessed many changes over the years. A lover of Christ, Teresa is a quiet servant whose life is characterized by dependability, steadfastness, and faithfulness. She serves as the Treasurer of XBCC and as such is responsible for keeping financial records, tracking spending, paying bills and payroll, and much more! As Treasurer, she also serves as part of our leadership team. Because she has a quiet disposition, she's much like E.F.Hutton: When she speaks, people listen! In addition, she has served in our church nursery nearly as long as she's attended Bethel, caring for our little ones. You will also find her ready and willing to help when it comes to special events throughout the year.

Teresa has four children, three of which currently attend XBCC. They are Jeff (residing in Florida), Tony, Brad, and Bonnie, all actively engaged in our fellowship.

We hope these posts will help you come to know more about the church and those who serve it and you and that they will serve as a prompt to be praying for those serving among us.
