Paul stood in chains before kings, commanders, and the most powerful men of his day — and he simply told his story. Not a polished argument. Not a legal defense. Just the truth of who he was before Christ, how he met Jesus, and what God had done since.

That is the power of a testimony. And you have one too.

This Sunday we walked through Acts 26 and the apostle Paul's testimony before King Agrippa. Three simple parts: who you were before Christ, how you came to know Him, and what He has done since. If a man who once imprisoned and killed Christians could share his story and nearly persuade a king, what could your story do for someone in your neighborhood, your workplace, or your family?

You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Do not hide it. Write your story. Share it. Let us make Him known.

🌎 MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK: The Violas to Panama

We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with the Violas as they serve the Lord in Panama!

In June, the Violas welcomed a missions team from their home church who were a great help throughout the week. Together, they were able to take the Gospel into over 700 homes in just 3 days!

The team also helped prepare for the Violas’ first-ever one-day VBS, where they had 29 in attendance, including 18 first-time visitors! They were also able to help with several construction projects during their time in Panama.

At the end of the month, they celebrated Father’s Day with 19 in attendance, and 3 fathers received a special gift.

Please pray for the Violas:
🙏 That the Lord would provide the needed funds for Maria’s permanent residency application.
🙏 For the lost souls of Panama and that many would come to know Christ.
🙏 For their continued safety and health.
🙏 As they visit and follow up with the new families who have attended their church events.

Trust is not a passive posture. Psalm 37:3 pairs trust with action -- trust in the Lord and do good. When life feels unjust, the temptation is to withdraw, grow bitter, or retaliate. But the Word of God calls the believer to keep doing good even when goodness seems to go unrewarded. What you know about God must be more reliable to you than what you do not know about your circumstances. He is faithful. He is sovereign. He is just. These truths are not theories -- they are the tested conclusions of men and women who walked through fire and came out the other side still holding onto God. Keep doing good today.

Is there a situation in your life right now where doing the right thing has made things harder for you?

Identify one area this week where you can actively do good despite a difficult or discouraging circumstance. Commit to it as an act of faith, not feelings.

What if the most hopeless person you know is exactly the kind of person Jesus came to save? In Mark 5, we meet a man living among tombs, tormented by a legion of demons, cut off from everyone who loved him. And yet, when he encountered Jesus, everything changed. The same power that calmed a raging sea brought complete peace to a shattered life.

Jesus did not just save this man and send him on his way. He gave him a mission: go home, go to your own people, and tell them what the Lord has done for you. That is still the call today. Your story, no matter how ordinary or dramatic it may seem, carries the power to point someone toward hope they desperately need.

No one is too far gone. No one is too unqualified. If Jesus could transform a naked, demon-possessed man into the first Gentile missionary, He can use you right where you are. Come hear more this Sunday.

We are SO encouraged by the participation in our Make Him Known campaign! 🙌 We’re already beginning to see God’s hand moving in our church, and we are celebrating all that He is doing!

This week at Lighthouse:

🙏 1,395 people prayed for
📩 209 people invited
📖 183 people had the Gospel shared with them

And God continued to move in incredible ways here at Lighthouse!

🔥 146 kids — a record Wednesday night attendance for AWANA!
🙌 459 people — a record Wednesday night attendance for our church!
⛪ 2 people joined the church
💧 1 person baptized

We are praising God for every life He is touching and every step being taken to Make Him Known!

Let’s keep going! Continue to pray for your 10, invite your 10, and share the Gospel with your 10. We can’t wait to see what God does next!

Life can feel deeply unfair. You try to do what is right, yet struggle. Others seem to prosper while living in rebellion against God. If you have ever wrestled with that tension, Psalm 37:1-11 speaks directly to your heart.

David, writing as an aged man who had been hunted, betrayed, and falsely accused, offers hard-won wisdom: do not fret over evildoers. Their prosperity is like grass, it grows quickly and fades fast. Your faithfulness is not in vain.

The answer is not a different circumstance. It is a different perspective. Trust in the Lord, delight yourself in Him, commit your ways to Him, and rest in His timing. When you know how the story ends, you do not have to carry the weight of the middle chapters.

We know the ending. Come hear the Word that anchors your soul through every season of life.
