Yesterday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day at Lighthouse Baptist Church!

We thank God for the fathers, grandfathers, and men who faithfully lead their homes, serve their families, and point others to Christ. During the service, we were challenged from 1 Corinthians 16:13-18 with a message on “A Biblical Portrait of a Godly Man.”

Godly men are called to be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong, and let everything they do be done in love. What a timely reminder of the kind of men God desires us to be!

Thank you to all the dads and father figures who make an eternal impact through your faithful example. Happy Father’s Day!

🌏 Missionary of the Week: Luke & Kelly Lyons – Manila, Philippines (Global Surge)

God is moving powerfully in Metro Manila as new churches are being planted in malls, gyms, and workplaces—reaching people right where they are. Recent launches include a church plant with 382 in attendance, along with growing ministries across the city.

We praise the Lord for leadership development as 135 men gathered for a pastor’s retreat, and for faithful leaders being raised up and sent out to multiply the work.

Please pray for continued growth, wisdom for these leaders, and that many more would come to Christ.

🌏 Missionary of the Week: The DePanos – Philippines

We thank the Lord for the DePanos and the work He is doing through their ministry in the Philippines! They are praising God for the blessing of a new Children's Center in Chrysanthemum Village, Camarin, where they have the opportunity to teach children each Saturday and welcome many of them to their worship services.

Please pray that even more young people will come to know Christ this year through these outreach efforts.

The DePanos are also grateful for the opportunity to minister to widowed believers in their church. They recently held a special worship service and were able to provide a small gift for their Noche Buena celebration. What a blessing to see these faithful brothers and sisters continuing to serve the Lord in every season of life.
