WPC Cove Service 2025.

The custom of the undecorated tree started in the year 1975. The Cove 4H Club volunteered to help the Presbyterian Church for its Christmas program. Chris King was to bring the Christmas tree.

Chris arrived with a beautiful large tree, and it was not long before the group realized that there were not enough ornaments to even start decorating the tree. It was decided that the tree would be left undecorated with just the manger adoring its base.

The congregation was surprised to see the large tree with no decorations but all was well after Reverand Thomas Sproule stated that the tree represented God's beauty and everlasting love.
