Midweek Reminder:
7-DAY GROW CHALLENGE

BELONG... GROW.... GO!

We’ve been talking about what it means to grow in our relationship with Jesus. This week, let’s do more than talk about growth, let’s intentionally pursue it.
Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you.” ~John 15:4

For the next 7 days, take a few minutes each day and complete the challenge. Don’t worry about doing it perfectly. The goal is to intentionally spend time with Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you.

DAY 1 — ABIDE
Read John 15:1–8.
Spend at least 15 uninterrupted minutes with Jesus. Put away your phone and distractions. Read, pray, and simply spend time with Him.
Pray Points:
“Jesus, help me stay connected to You. I don’t want to just visit Your presence...I want to abide in You.”

DAY 2 — CHECK THE FRUIT
Read Galatians 5:22–23.
Look at the fruit of the Spirit.. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Prayer Point:
“Holy Spirit, which of these needs the most growth in my life right now?”
e honest....Write down the one He brings to your attention.

DAY 3 — LET HIM PRUNE
Read John 15:2.
Ask God:
“What is getting in the way of my spiritual growth?”
Maybe it’s an attitude, unforgiveness, a habit, a distraction, too much time on something, or something God has already been asking you to surrender.

Don’t just identify it...take one practical step today toward letting it go.
Prayer Point:
“Father, I trust the Gardener. Prune whatever keeps me from becoming who You want me to be.”

DAY 4 — PRACTICE THE FRUIT
Go back to the fruit you identified on Day 2.
Today, intentionally practice it.
If it’s patience...slow down before you react.

if it’s love...show love to someone who is difficult to love.

If it’s peace...when worry comes, stop and pray.

If it’s gentleness ..pay attention to your words and tone.

If it’s self-control...say no to something your flesh wants to control.

Don’t just pray for fruit. Watch for an opportunity to produce it.

DAY 5 — GO DEEPER
Give Jesus something extra today.
Spend additional time in prayer or Scripture.
Turn off the television or put away your phone for a while and give that time to God.

You might choose to fast a meal if you are able.
The point isn't to earn anything from God. It is simply to say...
Jesus, You are worth my time and attention.

DAY 6 — POUR OUT
Read 1 Peter 4:10.
Remember what we learned...
Fruit doesn't grow just for the tree.

God is growing something in youthat can bless somebody else.
Today, intentionally pour into another person. Call someone who needs encouragement.
Pray with someone. Help someone. Send a Scripture.
Share something God has taught you. Do something that takes what God has placed in you and gives it away.

DAY 7 — EXAMINE & THANK GOD
Take a few quiet minutes and look back over your week.
Ask yourself:
Where did I see God working in me? What did He show me?What was difficult? Where did I respond differently than I normally would?
What still needs to grow?
Then thank God for every bit of progress.

Remember....

We are not looking for perfection...We are looking for evidence.

FRUIT IS THE EVIDENCE.

And here’s the final challenge...
Don’t let Day 7 be the end....

Keep abiding.
Keep praying.
Keep reading His Word.
Keep allowing Him to prune.
Keep producing fruit.

MIDWEEK REMINDER ... GROW

We’ve learned that we BELONG.
We are no longer strangers. We are part of the family of God, and there is a place for each of us in the body.

But God never intended for us to simply find our place and stay the same. We are called to GROW.

2 Peter 3:18 says:
“Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

Spiritual growth doesn’t happen just because we’ve been in church a long time. We grow when we stay in His Word.
We grow when we pray.
We grow when we allow the Holy Spirit to correct us.
We grow when we obey what God shows us. We grow when our faith is tested and we keep trusting Him.
And sometimes ...well, a lot of the time, growth is uncomfortable.....God will prune things....He will challenge attitudes....He will expose areas that need changing.....He will stretch us beyond what is comfortable. But He does it because He sees what we can become.

So here’s our midweek question:

Am I just attending, or am I actually growing?

Can I see evidence that Jesus is changing me?
Am I more loving?
More forgiving?
More faithful?
More prayerful?
More grounded in His Word?
More sensitive to His Spirit?

Let’s not be satisfied with simply knowing that we BELONG.

Let’s put our roots down deep and become mature disciples of Jesus.

Because there is a reason for the order of our vision:

BELONG.... Find your place. GROW ...Become more like Jesus.
GO ... Take what He has done in you to someone else.

We BELONG. Now let’s GROW.

Remember our prayer requests....pray for each other...pray for the sick...pray for the lost...we love you and we are agreeing in prayer with you for God to do great things ❤️

Midweek Reminder ❤️ ...No More Strangers

Sunday we began the first part of our BELONG. GROW. GO. vision with one beautiful truth...

No more strangers.

Ephesians 2:19 reminds us that through Jesus, we are “no more strangers and foreigners,” but members of the household of God.
We were all far off once. We didn't always know what we know now. We didn't always have everything together. But Jesus brought us near.

And if we're asking God to send people to our church, we also have to ask Him to prepare our hearts for the people He sends.

They may not look like us. They may not know how church works. Their lives may still be messy.
They may come carrying hurt, questions, struggles, and broken places....haven't we all?

Our calling isn't to compromise truth...but neither is it to make people earn our love before they can experience it. Jesus was full of grace AND truth.

So this week, let's remember...

Notice the person standing alone.
Learn a new name.
Make room at your table. Reach beyond your familiar circle, and let someone know, “There is a place for you here.”

Before we ask God to enlarge our church, let's ask Him to enlarge our hearts.

May our church be a place where people encounter Jesus, become part of His family, and discover....
You don't have to remain a stranger.
You can BELONG....❤️

BELONG... GROW....GO!
