Happy July!!

Can you believe tomorrow is July 1st! I can't!! ☺️

July is all about Creation!

This Sunday we will be learning all about the Creation of Earth and Space!

🌎 Bible Passage: Genesis 1:1-14, 16, 18-17
🌎 Big Idea: God Created ALL Things!
🌎 Focus Verse: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1

I am so excited for our kids to learn all about how God created all things. We have a whole month of interactive lessons, games, activities and crafts planned! We can't not wait!

We are so thankful each of you are part of our LCCC family! We pray blessings our your weekend!

Happy Tuesday Parents!!

I hope you and your family are having a wonderful week! 😀

This past Sunday we jumped into a exciting, new unit called The Big 5-0!

Our lesson titled, Jesus Appears to His Disciples, came from John 20:19 and Luke 24:37-41. We talked about how Jesus must have shocked His followers that day. More than surprising His disciples, Jesus taught an important truth when He showed Himself: Jesus wants to be with them.

We also want to take a moment to thank you for being flexible this past Sunday, as we had several people out sick and had to combine a couple classes. We appreciate your patience this past Sunday.

We hope you to see you all tomorrow night!
Service starts at 7pm, with check-in beginning at 6:30!

Happy Friday Everyone! 😃

We are SO, SO excited about start our new unit for the Month of May! Its called ...

The Big 5-0. Jesus' Resurrection to Pentecost.

In the Big 5-0 unit, we focus on the fifty days between Jesus' resurrection and Pentecost. Each week, the kids will be learning that Jesus loves to be with His people and loves to be with us! The verse the class will be memorizing is found in Hebrews 13:5 - "God he said, I will never leave you; I will never abandon you." Be sure to emphasize that Jesus is a God who desires to be close to us.

Let's look ahead at Sunday - Jesus Appears to His Disciples

🟢 Bible Passage: John 20:19; Luke 24: 37-41
🟢 Big Idea: Jesus loves to be with us.
🟢 Focus Verse: "God has said, ' I will never leave you; I will never abandon you." - Hebrews 13:5

Happy Tuesday Friends!!

Here is your Sunday recap!📣

This past Sunday we wrapped up our unit on The Biggest Announcement. This has been a fun unit to learn about Jesus and his death, burial and resurrection all month long. The children got to dig in to and explore the big idea - Jesus has risen from the grave!

This past Sunday - we focused on John 20:3-8, 10 - Peter and John run to the tomb. This story remind us that nothing is too hard for God! (Jeremiah 33:27) and the good news is the Jesus has risen from the grave!

We are looking forward to wrapping up April with a super fun Sunday - before we start into our new unit. We can't wait to see you there!! 🤩

Happy Thursday!!

⭐️⭐️Wednesday Night Recap! ⭐️⭐️
Last night in Remnant Kids Ministry we started learning about Who Jesus Is!

Our topic last night was ... Jesus: Is He Really God? Yes! He is!

⭐️Our lesson came from John 1: 1-3; 14
⭐️Big Idea: Jesus wants you to know him!
⭐️ Memory Verse: "Jesus answered, I am the way. And I am the truth and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. If you really knew me, then you would know my Father too." - John 14:6-7 (ICB)

Your kiddo learned something so amazing about Jesus last night! He was not just a human; Jesus is also God. And even though it can be hard to understand how all that works, we will keep learning because Jesus wants you to know Him! And the more we read His Word the better we can do that!

Last night we also talked about how some churches has special windows made with stained glass. These windows are often to show pictures to help people learn Bible Stories and remind us how wonderful God is! Tonight, we learned that Jesus is God, so we made a stained-glass window to help us remember just that!

We are so thankful for the little conversations we have with each child that walks into our Kids Ministry classrooms. Thank you for bringing them and making it a priority during your busy week!

We love each of you and are SO thankful you are a part of our Life Changers Christian Center family! 💜

Happy Monday! It is such a beautiful day! ☀️

Yesterday, in Remnant Kids Ministry we wrapped up our HEARTWORK unit. We have spent that last four weeks learning how Jesus wants to make our hearts pure.

Sunday Recap 📣
The Unforgiving Servant

💙Bible Passage: Matthew 18:23-30, 32-33
💙Big Idea: Jesus wants to make our hearts pure.
💙Focus Verse: "Create in me a pure heart, O God." - Psalm 51:10a

In this passage we learned that the king forgave his servant of a tremendous amount of money, yet the servant man could not forgive the man who owed him just a little bit of money. The servant had an unforgiving heart, but Jesus has better plans for our hearts. Jesus wants to make our hearts pure. Instead of holding grudges and refusing to forgive, Jesus wants us to have forgiving hearts. He wants us to forgive like that king in the story forgave. More importantly, He wants us to forgive because He forgives us.

Happy Friday!!
We just wanted to take a moment to let you know all the children have been learning on Sunday Mornings!

Our March unit is called HEARTWORK - What Jesus says about the Heart! WE HAVE HAD THE BEST TIME IN KIDS CLASS!

This unit has been so much fun with the kids!

💙 Week One: Who is the Greatest?
Our lesson was based on Mark 9:33-35 - This scripture talks about when Jesus and his disciples went to Capernaum, and while on the way his disciples were arguing about which one of the is the greatest.
💙 Week Two: The Rich Young Man
Our lesson was based on Matthew 19:16-17, 20-22 - This scripture focuses on the man the came to Jesus and asked "Teacher, what good thing must I do to have life forever?" and Jesus answered "... If you want to have life forever, obey the commands." and then went on to tell the man "If you want to be perfect, then go and sell all the things you own. Give the money to the poor. If you do this, you will have a treasure in heaven. Then come follow me." After Jesus told the young man this he became very sad because he was very rich.
💙Week 3: Martha's anger with Mary
Last week, our lesson was based on Luke 10:38-42 - This scripture talked about when Jesus and his followers were traveling through a town a women name Martha let Jesus stay at her house. Martha had a sister named Mary. Mary was sitting at Jesus' feet and listening to him teach. Martha became angry with Mary because she had to much work to do.

Often, we can get caught up in worldly thoughts like being greater or better at something than someone else, or misplacing our wants over our needs, or even we can become angry with someone when we just have too much to do. Jesus doesn't want those things for us. Jesus wants to make our hearts pure. 💙
