⛳️ Registration is OPEN for our Golf Fundraiser, happening on Friday, AUGUST 14!!!

The need for a safe and productive place to go after school is vital for our urban teens to thrive.
For that reason we’re aiming high this year…

🚀 We’re asking for 185 PEOPLE to register to play in support of the 185 TEENS who attended the Attic this year! (That’s pretty bold, right?). We’re also opening up a MORNING and AFTERNOON ROUND this year to try to meet that goal. We’re aiming to raise $40k from this event to continue progress to expand from 1 day to 3 days of after school programming this fall (because kids need it ❤️).

That’s a wrap for the school year programming. A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and student leaders. We showed love and hope to another year of the most students we’ve ever had (185+). As good as this year has been, let’s believe that the best is up ahead…for the sake of the teens that we love. Thank you everyone out there for your part in helping urban teens to write a better story 💜

Today our kids were reminded that the Attic exists as a place for them to feel…SAFE. There are recurring tragic stories in our area about young lives being taken by senseless violence. Our work is to direct young people away from that lifestyle and towards a better story. It’s a tough time to be a teenager. Safety for some kids is hard to find. We will be a safe place for them. We will believe in what God has put within them to write a better story.

Tonight officially completed the journey for these three. They graduated from our 9 month Launch Out Leadership training. We had to celebrate together around a bon fire 🔥. We’re so proud of who they are, the growth they’ve experienced, and how they are launching out on mission! Congrats Katie, Lesvi, and Matthew 🎉

What an AMAZING night for our Improv & Impact Night! Too many highlights to share them all. Celebrating our three launch out student leaders for graduating from our 9 month leadership training program. Go Katie, Matthew, and Lesvi 🚀

The Attic is planning to expand and grow. We will be increasing from 1 to 3 days of programming a week next school year. We’re doubling our budget goal to triple our impact ($200k goal). It’s time to invest big in helping urban teens to write a better story. Join us in this good work. Help us build the Attic 🔨
