Athletic Sensations Baton Twirling Offering baton twirling classes in Michigan. Come join the fun and learn how to twirl a baton! Students learn baton twirling tricks in class as well as routines.

Our baton twirling classes not only focus on teaching children how to twirl a baton, our classes encourage teamwork, poise, hand-eye coordination, as well as help children build their self-esteem. Students can also earn ribbons in class! In addition, students will have an opportunity to march, as part of our award winning parade group, in parades. Classes are currently offered to youths ages four

to eighteen years old in several locations throughout Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Battle Creek, Muskegon, Jenison, Holland, St. Joseph, and Niles. This is a great opportunity which can lead to students becoming a majorette for their school and a scholarship to college! Don't wait to start learning!

Calling all our baton twirling and color guard families! We need your help! We are very close to meeting our fundraising goal selling the World’s Finest Chocolate candy bars. If it is at all possible, please step up and pick up an additional box/boxes at your class. The deadline will be extended to give you time to sell any additional boxes. Posted December 10, 2025. Our Ionia baton class at LeValley Church is cancelled tonight due to the weather/roads.

Our Niles baton class at Community Evangelical Free Church is also cancelled tonight due to the weather/roads.

Our last baton class is next week. Parents and guests are welcome to watch the last class. Don’t forget your camera as the students will be showing parents and guests tricks that they have been working on in class as well as their dance twirl routine and parade routine. If you purchased an Athletic Sensations’ uniform sweatshirt and sweatpants, please have your child wear it to the last class. If you did not purchase an Athletic Sensations’ sweatshirt and sweatpants, please have your child wear a red shirt/sweatshirt and black pants/sweatpants to the last class, if possible. All students, whether wearing the Athletic Sensations’ uniform sweatshirt and sweatpants or a red shirt/sweatshirt and black pants/sweatpants, should wear white socks and all white (or at least mostly white) tennis shoes to the last class, if possible. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Posted December 1, 2025. Our Paw Paw baton class at Paw Paw Early Elementary is cancelled tonight due to Paw Paw Public Schools cancelling school today. For the students who have already registered for the competition on Sunday, please pick up your competition envelope at the registration desk at the competition. If you are planning to attend the competition and haven’t registered, yet, you may call 616-460–1747 and register over the telephone or you can register at the competition. Mr. Randy will take your group aside and review the routine with you shortly before the competition starts. Hope to see you all on Sunday!
