Dear Parish Family,

St. Marks is excited to announce a wonderful addition to this year’s Annual Father’s Day Picnic on Sunday, June 21st.

The “Armenian Roots Ensemble” will be joining the celebration and sharing their beautiful Armenian folk music for all of us. Their music will bring a joyful cultural spirit to the picnic and make this special parish tradition even more memorable for everyone attending.

This year’s picnic promises to be a wonderful day of fellowship, delicious food, music, and community. Everyone is encouraged to invite family and friends and help make this event a great success.

On behalf of the myself and faithful of St. Marks we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Anthony “Tony” Vraim.

Tony was a man deeply devoted to his faith, his family, and his community. For many years, he faithfully served countless Armenian families with compassion, dignity, and kindness through his work at Vraim Funeral Home. He always made our community feel welcomed, respected, and cared for during some of life’s most difficult moments.

His generosity, wisdom, patriotism, and love for others left a lasting impression on all who knew him. We are grateful for the friendship and support he extended to the Armenian community throughout his life.

We pray that our Lord grant rest to his soul and bring comfort and strength to his beloved wife Jennifer, his sons Michael and David, his grandchildren, and all who mourn his passing.

May his memory be eternal.

There is one person, just one, who gets to have TWO birthday cakes, one today and one on Birthday Month! 🎂 St Marks Armenian Catholic Church is always honored to celebrate Der Asadur M Minasian's birthday. And today was that day. Singing happy birthday and wishing him all the joys life can bring. We, as a parish, are very blessed to have him as our priest and leader. May God be with him always. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎉🎂🎉🎁🎈

To all parishioners and friends of the St Marks Armenian Catholic Church community, we are saddened to share the passing of Angela Hagopian (Chatschikian) on Saturday, April 27th. A very private funeral was held as Angela had requested. Angie, as everyone fondly called her, was a pillar at St. Marks for many, many years,working alongside the women to help the church grow and flourish.

Angie was married to the late Wallace Hagopian of Sts. Sahag and Mesrop Armenian Apostolic Church. She leaves behind her daughter's, Nina McClernon (Michael) and Tina Allison (Ryan), grandchildren, Jack, Meghan, Chad and Lauren, as well as nieces and nephews, Blanche Aboyan, Dan Aboyan, Ray Aboyan, Nancy Aboyan, late Armen Aboyan (Jr)and great nieces and nephews Laura Aboyan, Caroline Aboyan, Danny Aboyan, Erin Aboyan, Aidan McBride and Brandon McBride.

We will miss her dearly as her family as well as her church family. The Karasoonk (40 Day mass) will be held on June 7th at St Marks Armenian Catholic Church.

May her soul rest in peace 🙏

Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." This beautiful part of scripture highlights the honor and appreciation mothers deserve.

Today, a special Mass was celebrated for all mothers of St Marks Armenian Catholic Church, those who are with us and those who are home with our Lord.

After Mass, the occasion was celebrated by a prayer and a few words by Father Der Asadur M Minasian followed by a very special cake, donated by Patty Tootelian and 24 long stemmed roses, donated by Blanche Aboyan, placed on the altar in honor of our mothers. The program ended with a poetic tribute by Everly Ocker expressing the love for her mother, Peter Bohdjelian and Adrienne Juskalian reciting a poem for mothers who are with us and one for mothers who have passed away. Thank you to Patrice Keshgegian and Adrienne Juskalian for setting up the hall.

Okay!!! What we all wait for with great anticipation....birthday month St Marks Armenian Catholic Church!!! To all our parishioners born in April, Happy and Blessed Birthday 🎂 The best part of this celebration is the cake you get to eat if you are present. Sona Sudjian Hoplamazian and Patricia Tootelian had the opportunity to eat cake while rest of our parish raising their voices in song. Happy Birthday ladies and many blessings to all our April babies for good health and Joyous days ahead 🎉🎉🎉
