Transition Page

Transition Page We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ declaring good news of hope from heaven. John 3:16 We are moving in a new direction.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. If you are looking for solid expository preaching and biblical teaching, come in for a visit and check us out. Our emphasis is on God's love and Good News from heaven. Launching His ministry, Jesus Christ described His mission with these words. "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is

upon me, because the LORD has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified. Isaiah 61: 1 - 3

We can do no less than declare God's love for mankind as reflected in our Lord's mission statement. God loves you and sent His Son to save you from your sins and give you a new start.

Something of grave importance is taking place at a meeting of the WHO in Switzerland this week. In case you haven't heard, the Biden administration has submitted 13 amendments to an existing world health agreement. These amendments would essentially surrender our national sovereignty to the WHO. They would have the power to shut down nearly anything in our nation by simple decree. We recently experienced this kind of government overreach. This is in violation of our constitution. Please contact your senators and representatives by calling their local numbers and voice your opposition to these traitorous amendments. Encourage them to support Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and their push back against the Biden administration.

The World Council for Health has open letters to WHO which you can download and send to your representatives, or circulate to your friends. Here is the link https://worldcouncilforhealth.org/news/2022/03/pandemic-treaty/45591/

Please take action.

Just on the heels of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organizations is angling for more power to control how countries handle public health crises — and the Biden administration wants to hand it over. Join me in asking our U.S. officials to push back!

And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. 17 For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. 18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. Romans 5:16 - 18

Redemption by grace through faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Scripture boldly declares we are given grace to reign in life. Romans 5: 17 ESV Start time is 10:45am.

Happy Resurrection Day dear Friends. He is risen. Our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, carried away our sin, sickness, poverty, and all the curses of the law broken by us. He, in turn, gives every blessing of heaven to those who believe and receive His free gift of salvation. Because of His victory, we are assured we will always come out on top. Blessings
Romans 5:17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

As we enter 2019 with amazement at how fast time seems to pass, there is an excitement and perhaps, some trepidation as we face the future. I want to give you thoughts from the Scripture and encourage you to believe God for great things in the coming year.

First, know that God has a solution for your challenges. If 2019 started out with a bang, or you encountered difficulties or even tragic news, please remember God loves you deeply and cares about your situation. Jesus understood we would encounter trials and tests, but He gives us an assurance of His strength for the journey. In John 14:1 He says, "“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me." And then again in verse 27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

When the disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee and sailed into a fierce storm which threatened to sink their boat, Jesus was asleep. Matthew tells us they woke Him in a panic, but He calmed the storm with one word. He then asked the disciples, "Why are you so afraid?" Many times our fears far outweigh the reality of our challenges. Even in the midst of the reality of water filling the boat, and raging winds and angry waves, the presence of Jesus Christ is the answer. He has all authority and all power and has entrusted His name to us. Pray, speak, believe in His name and calm your storms, and let His peace rule your heart and mind. More next week. Thank you for dropping in. Please come and visit our worship service.
