How to Handle a Crisis
Trust in the Lord and do good Psalm 37:1-11
We all experience moments of crisis at times. And when we do, we often panic. Or we fret.
David’s life seemed to be one crisis after another. As an older man, he shared his experience when facing wild animals, evil giants, and would-be assassins.
He learned what not to do: worry, panic or fret. And he learned what to do:
In this psalm he gives us five smooth steps to overcoming when we face a crisis.

Stewardship is an important Biblical principle for each of us to follow. Psalm 24:1 points out that God owns all, not just our tithe (100% rather than 10%). It is both our privilege and our responsibility to support our church and its’ outreach in our community and the world. II. Rely on the Lord’s faithfulness
a. God supplies what we don’t have
b. God sustains what we do have
c. God satisfies us about what we can’t have
III. Rejoice in His Fatherly care
a. Trust
b. Delight
c. Commit
d. Rest
e. Wait
