What Must I Do to be Saved?

Righteousness right and wrong Romans 10:1-21

We are living in a day which is characterized by open defiance of the law. The standard used to be, if you break the law, you would be punished. These days, it seems the law is simply adjusted so as not to offend lawbreakers.

The same problem is evident in the spiritual realm. And Paul points out this issue in Romans 10. Mankind, including Israel, is lost because they rejected God’s way of salvation in Christ. Yet somehow the blame is shifted to where it must be God's fault.

Paul's purpose in Romans 9 through 11 is to vindicate God's righteousness in light of Israel's rejection. Last week, we saw Israel rejected God in the past, yet God is faithful.

Today we examine how salvation takes place in the present for Jews and Gentiles.
