We are excited to announce that Kreymer/Hughes Cemetery is now a registered location for Wreaths Across America. (Wylie Cemetery has been for several years.) This organization honors our military heroes throughout the year, including December when they and local volunteers lay wreaths at the graves of American servicemen & servicewomen.

If you would like to volunteer this December 19 to help lay wreaths or if you would like to sponsor a wreath to place, click the link below! (Each wreath is $17.)

Wreaths Across America ("WAA") coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies every December to "Remember, Honor, and Teach" about the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. Please check out this page to learn how you can help by sponsoring Veterans Remembrance Wreaths or by joining us on Decembe...

Due to the current weather conditions, the cemeteries will not be mowed this week. They also missed the weekly mow last week due to wet weather. Please bear with us—we will have our mower back once the weather allows!

We are in the process of having several of our oldest, damaged markers carefully restored. These headstones are from the 1800s or early 1900s, and have either been broken or have sunk into the ground so much that they are in danger of being permanently lost.

If you would like to help us with the cost of repairing these vulnerable historical markers, we would be grateful! (Remember, we run on donations and are NOT a perpetual care cemetery. )

PLEASE SHARE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO HAVE FAMILY AT WYLIE OR KREYMER!!

In our efforts to clarify further the
Rules & Regulations, please see AMENDMENTS.

***During Mowing Season,
March 1-Oct 31,

Flowers ONLY are allowed, and
Mowing Season #3 &
Prohibited Items #4 rules apply.

We have had one complaint about Easter items being removed however the Cemetery Board has not specifically removed items since Easter. If items were blown off burials during the rains around Easter they would have been picked up for mowing.

One specific item, an Easter Basket, was removed because it was full of water.

Please do not place “Prohibited Items” or “place flowers directly into the ground” and then be upset if they are removed.

If you have questions please reach out to us as we are here to serve our families. ❤️🙏🏻

As mowing season gets started please be aware that we will be working on cleaning up the North tree line.

There is a lot of brush and downed tree limbs that need to be removed and we are also working with the City to cleanup and clear the storm water runoff path down the Northside also.

Please be watchful while on the grounds and if you,

“See something, Say something”

We appreciate all of our families as we work to improve the cemetery grounds.

God Bless
