There will always be obstacles.
There will always be challenges.
There will always be giants.

But the people of God were never called to shrink back.

This Sunday, we are stepping into Nehemiah 2:11-20 and asking a simple question:

Will we stay where it is comfortable, or will we rise and rebuild?

Come expectant.
Invite someone.
Let’s seek the Lord together.

“Come, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3 🙌

God is not made greater by our praise.

He is holy.
Worthy.
Near.

When we magnify Him, we help each other see what has always been true.

Jesus said, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”John 12:32 ✝️

Before He is lifted in songs, sermons, posts, or gatherings, Christ is first raised on the cross.

His love is revealed there. Our sin is nailed there. Mercy speaks there. The heart of God is seen there.

This is the center of our worship.

Jesus Himself.

The crucified King.
The risen Savior.
The One who still draws people close.

So we honor Him. 🙏

At home.
In our words.
Through forgiveness.
By serving.
With worship.
As we walk into this week.

The Church does not create God’s presence.

We answer it.

We gather because He is worthy.
We sing because He is near.
We speak because Christ still draws people to Himself.

Come, magnify the Lord with us. 🙌

Drop “Jesus” in the comments as a simple way to exalt His name today.

New week. Fresh start. Same Jesus.

This Sunday, we continue in Ephesians 4.

Put off the old self.
Put on the new self.

That means the way we speak matters.
The way we forgive matters.
The way we love matters.
The way we show up matters.

Church is not only where we gather.

It is who we are.

Be the Church where God sends you.

Join us this Sunday at 10AM.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” | Psalm 139:13

Tomorrow we celebrate the women who carried us, raised us, prayed for us, and pointed us to Jesus. 💐

We also hold space for the ones who find this day tender. The moms who have lost. The ones who are still waiting. The ones whose mothers are no longer here. You are not forgotten tomorrow.

Bring your people. We’ll save you a seat.

Today we had the joy of serving the teachers and staff at Jefferson Elementary for Teacher Appreciation Week🤍

We brought them lunch, handwritten cards, and Pastor Miguel got to walk the halls and thank them in person. It was such a small thing in the grand scheme, but it meant something to them and it meant something to us.

Huge shout out to Jenny who organized all of this. She’s a pillar in our community, at Jefferson Elementary, and at our church, and we are so grateful for her🍎

This is the heart of DRCC. Loving our neighbors right where they are. We’re so grateful we get to do this kind of stuff.

To every teacher reading this, here in Wyandotte and beyond, you are seen and so appreciated🫂

Jesus didn't promise us a life without trouble. He promised us peace in the middle of it.

Today Pastor Miguel is teaching from John 16:16-33 on how Jesus turns sorrow into joy, anguish into access, and fear into courage. Hope lives because He lives.

Join us live or catch the replay.
