Today was a special day at St. Stephen's. We recognized our youth and their educational milestones as the School Year and Sunday School year comes to an end. We recognized our amazing youth ministry volunteers and staff for their time, care, and dedication. We also celebrate the coffee hour king, Bruce, as he retires after 29 years of service. Lastly (but not least!), we congratulated one of our youth group members as they prepare for thier Scotland and England Pilgramage this summer!

The rest of our shelving is finally coming and we need to clear out the book sale room by Thursday at 4pm. Everything in the book sale room will be free until then. Come take it!

The Sunday School Class working hard on our group activity. Some very creative liberties were taken 😉 and we support it! 🖍️🎨🖌️✍🏻👩🏻‍🎨

During coffee hour, a few of the youth happily assisted Pastor with moving a couch into the children's chapel (it had to be broken down to move, and then reassembled) as we prepare for our Brown Bag Blessings project ❤️ 💪

St. Stephen's Youth members have been very creative in their ideas for Pastor when we hit goal! Look at that thermometer 🌡 rise! 🐔 💃 🎤

Thanks to donations in memory of Jim Bely, plus items we've collected so far, we're at 1,350 cans of soup, stew, or pasta for the Brown Bag Blessings!

The Sunday School and Youth Group learned about cornerstones, both literally and metaphorically. 🌟🧱🏗️ 👑 ✝️ We learned that St. Stephen's didn't always look like it does today, or even face the same direction! We discussed growth and changing. We learned that a foundation is key to stability.
We had a building competition. We compared the tallest to most stable entry (which in our competition was not the same structure). We focused on the importance of a building a firm foundation, in structures such as the church & spiritually. ❤️
After all this fun, we gathered to break bread together. Fried chicken, cupcakes, cookies, and lemonade; the menu was planned by the youth members! Yum! 🍗🧁🍪🧃🍋
