We had a very moving virtual remembrance of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., this afternoon on Long Island. I encourage my friends to try to find time to check it out on youtube. We've had these services for several years, but due to the pandemic, it had to be virtual. It was the first time we used this technology, so please excuse the few glitches. Please join us, in truly keeping the spirit of Dr. King alive.

As a parish community, we join in mourning the death of James Francis Haefele, a former parishioner of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, who died recently in Florida.

Because of the COVID-19 situation, and under diocesan guidelines, the Funeral Mass of James Haefele will be closed to the public. Immediate family members only are permitted to attend. However, the Haefele family has given permission that the funeral be streamed via Facebook-Live on Wednesday, April 29 @ 11:00 am. Please join us as we pray for the departed soul of Jim and support the Haefele family. Thank you for understanding the wishes of the Haefele family.
