Place, Date, and Time of Moot: Zoom, 2/22/2026, at 10:00 am; Present: Oberon Zell, Jill & DJ Salmon, Jennifer & Neal Cox; Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting: Neal Cox
Reports From Other People Who Were Assigned or Took On Certain Tasks:
• Oberon Zell and the group discussed how to build the Pagan Community; how do we support value in community as Pagans? Discussion of Oberon’s extensive knowledge of working with the Pagan community, with his many efforts such as the Pagan Solidarity Alliance in the United States and the Pagan Credit Union, which offered other avenues such as Pagan Pride, holding panels and discussion groups, having open rituals and booths, marrying the Pagan and Civic group calendars, and so forth. It seemed to make alliances by working together with the Pagan Solidarity Alliance and Pagans Gathering to build the network and community. Oberon stated that he would not want to be on the board of directors but will pop in from time to time during our monthly moots to see how we are doing.
• Neal reported that to legally become a 1023 Non-Profit as an Educational and Spiritual Network for the Pagan Community, it would take $25.00 to become incorporated. Other demands would mean that we would need to come up with our bylaws, members of the board would sign a conflict-of-interest document, and hold our first official board meeting. Voting to move forward to becoming a non-profit was unanimous (Neal, Jennifer, Jill, and D.J).
Old business.
• Each member present discussed the people, groups, and ideas as to how to invite and or investigate people of different age groups (particularly the younger generations), and group leaders of different types of covens, groves, groups, etc., to join us for future moots/meetings or at the very least, be interested in listing themselves on the new website. Jeff – book listings at Pathways, Pagan Radio International, StL Pagan Picnic – brochures at author's table, Jen – OBOD, metaphysical shop bulletin boards, connection webpage.
• Neal stated that after researching the two web-building sites, Squarespace would be the best for our needs as a non-profit.
New Business:
• Ideas for Pagans Gathering symbol – a canopy tent with different pagan group symbols on the tent posts.
Treasurer’s Report: Note of $25.00 to become incorporated as a non-profit.
Important Points Discussed: If They Are of Value for Future Reference:
a.) Each member present is to continue to invite and or investigate people of different age groups (particularly the younger generations), and group leaders of different types of covens, groves, groups, etc., to join us for future moots/meetings or at the very least, be interested in listing themselves on the new website.
b.) Neal’s work on non-profit status.
c.) Two people volunteered to work on the website-phone app to get it ready once the website-phone app combination is chosen – Neal Cox and Jennifer Cox.
d.) Banking account (what bank would give us the best options) with payment point of sales links such as Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, PayPal, Square (POS), etc. was discussed, but nothing was decided to be researched at a later date, since we need to figure out the non-profit status option that would be the best.
e.) More ideas for the Pagans' Gathering symbol
