You Are Invited!

You are invited to a Mardi Gras Party after Worship this Sunday! Please stick around for a treat and some fellowship.

You can still join our Lenten book study, “Wrestling with Doubt, Finding Faith”, by Rev. Adam Hamilton. First Zoom is Tuesday evening 2/17 at 7:00pm. The Wednesday in-person group will meet 2/18 at 10am in Fellowship Hall. Order your book through Amazon or Cokesbury.com.

Join our Ash Wednesday Service on February 18th at 6:30pm to mark the beginning of our Lenten season with scripture, live music and ashes.

It was such a fun blessing for Linde and I to deliver Valentine Baskets from Harmonie Church to the first responders of the Wright City Fire and Police Departments, the Innsbrook Security Department, and the County Sheriff's Office. Each was received with surprise and delight!

The soup from Souper Bowl Sunday has been delivered to the WC Food Pantry!

Something new for me, and maybe for you: February 8th is “Souper” Bowl Sunday at Harmonie. Bring your can of soup to add to your offering and tape a quarter to the top for the “quarterback sneak”! All proceeds to go to Wright City Food Pantry.

Because of the intense weather predicted for Saturday and Sunday, we will NOT hold church this weekend. I commend you find time on Sunday morning to offer prayer and devotions.

This would also be an excellent time to go through your closets for warm clothing, coats, and blankets to share with our neighbors who will be struggling to stay protected from the cold this winter. You can bring your offerings to church next Sunday or drop them off this week at the Wright City Food Pantry for distribution on Wednesday. Pastor Purl was just delighted with the dozen or so coats we donated this week! He also sends his grateful thanks for the nutritious Juice for January! I am grateful to serve such a gracious church family.

Harmonie took 3rd place in the Historical Society's Christmas Table Contest!

Dear Church,

I wanted to let you know that our Trick or Treat for UNICEF “noisy” offering exceeded $110, which will be matched. Thank you all for opening your hearts to this special offering designated to help feed the children of Gaza.

Tomorrow, we will celebrate All Saints Day in worship, remembering those who have passed on before us who were influencers on our journey of faith.

Remember to TURN BACK your clocks tonight one hour as we leave Daylights Saving Time.
