With all the rain we had this spring, finally got back to the cemetery to get it mowed, weedeated and grass raked up!! It looks so much better!!!

The first two photos are taken from the entrance, northeast corner, looking west and south before mowing.

The last two photos are taken from same place, after mowing.

Two large limbs blew down where the old Hickory Grove Christian Church once stood, so we cleaned them up and cleared the brush from the area where the church was.
Also mowed the cemetery for the sixth time this year.

First mowing of the year the grass was a little tall, so it was mowed high, grass was raked up and it was mowed again at a lower height.

Brought some dirt in 5 gallon buckets and filled in the Spiers sunken grave.

Grass was blown together in wind rows, raked up and removed.

The cemetery was mowed again, with some help this time!!
The last time it was mowed was June 12, 2021 and it got pretty tall, being it is mainly native grasses.
