Satilla Baptist Church

It was a great honor and privilege to preach behind the same pulpit my grandfather, Craig Barnette preached behind years ago. Church, as you continue your week, I encourage you to allow the wind of the Holy Spirit to blow in your life: North, South, East and West! We know that no matter the wind, He is in it! See you next week as we dive into a message I have titled "Bitter Water Made Sweet"!

We had so much fun last night at Satilla BRITE! The elementary class had a great Bible lesson presented by Mrs Tammy on The Fall and how sin separates us from God, but Jesus came to restore our relationship with God! Come join us next Wednesday. Students in 6-12 meet at the same time. Meal 6 pm, large groups at 6:30, small groups at 7, gym and play time 7:30. You may begin picking up your younger students at 7:30. Youth will be finished by 8.

Thank you to Mrs Gayla for delivering our blessing to Irwin Elementary!

On Monday, August 3, Mrs. Gayla Roulo from Satilla Baptist Church visited I.C.E.S. to deliver a donation for the I.C.E.S. clothes closet. The Vacation Bible School children at Satilla collected the funds for their peers, and I.C.E.S. appreciates this blessing!

Tuesday was a great night at VBS! Our Bible story was the lost sheep. The Shepherd left the 99 to go find the one lost sheep. There was great rejoicing when the sheep was found! Jesus loves us even more than the shepherd loves a sheep! He wants to find all those who don’t know HIM as their Savior!!! Do you need to be found? Just ask! Jesus wants us. Luke 15:4-7
