Three days until All Saints is full of kids, volunteers, rainforest decorations, and the sound of people asking, “What's for snack today?”

We are so excited to welcome children for Rainforest Falls VBS, where we’ll explore the nature of God through Bible stories, 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐂, games, crafts, snacks, and friendship.

This is a great week for kids who already know church and for kids who are brand new. It is a week to belong, wonder, laugh, learn, and discover that God’s love is big enough for all of us.

Today we observe Juneteenth, a day of remembrance, freedom, and hope.

On June 19, 1865, the news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth reminds us that freedom proclaimed must also become freedom practiced, protected, and shared.

As people of faith, we give thanks for liberation, we lament the sins of slavery and racism, and we recommit ourselves to the work of justice, dignity, reconciliation, and love for all God’s people.

May we be a church that listens, learns, repents, and acts — trusting the God who hears the cries of the oppressed and leads people into freedom.

“Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” — Amos 5:24

Grab the monthly book from your local library or favorite bookstore, enjoy reading amidst work, life, and travel, and then come to the Parish Hall at the end of the month for conversation and discussion.

Four days until we step through the mist into Rainforest Falls!

One of the best parts of VBS is watching kids discover that faith is not only something we talk about. It is something we sing, play, taste, wonder about, act out, and remember.

At Rainforest Falls, kids will rotate through Bible adventures, music, games, imagination stations, snacks, and more as they learn about the nature of God.

It’s hands-on. It’s joyful. It’s faithful. It’s loud in the best possible way.

We can’t wait!

We are getting closer to Rainforest Falls, and we can already hear the music, laughter, and joyful chaos coming down the hallway!

VBS is one of those beautiful weeks when the church becomes extra alive. Kids ask big questions. Volunteers show up with big hearts. Snacks somehow become holy. And in the middle of all of it, we get to share the good news of God’s love.

This year’s theme is all about discovering who God is.

God is our creator.God knows everything. God is our safe place. God is love. God is forever.

That’s a pretty amazing week.

The countdown is officially on!

One week from today, All Saints will be transformed into Rainforest Falls, where kids will step into a world of waterfalls, wild creatures, music, games, crafts, snacks, Bible stories, and a whole lot of joy.

This year, we’ll be exploring the nature of God and discovering the good news that God creates us, knows us, shelters us, loves us, and holds us forever.

There’s still time to register and invite a friend!
