Three churches. One morning. Thousands of meals. ❤️

On Saturday, September 12, All Saints Lutheran Church, Gethsemane Lutheran Church, and Lord of Life Lutheran Church are coming together for the ELCA’s annual God’s Work. Our Hands. day of service.

This year, we’re partnering with the **Lesotho Nutrition Initiative** to pack thousands of nutritious meals for children experiencing severe malnutrition in Lesotho, Africa.

And we need YOU!

📍 All Saints Lutheran Church
🗓 Saturday, September 12
💪 9:00 a.m. — Set-up and heavy lifting
📦 10:00 a.m.–Noon — Meal packing

You don’t need any special skills. We’ll work assembly-line style—scooping, weighing, sealing, counting, and packing—and together, in just two hours, we can help provide thousands of meals for children who need them.

This is what it looks like when the church comes together.

Different congregations. Different communities. One body of Christ, putting our faith into action.

God’s work. Our hands. Let’s get to work.❤️

“Without officials, it’s just recess.” 🏈😂

That may have been the quote of the afternoon as our OWLs — Older, Wiser Lutherans — kicked off a brand-new program year today!

It was a FULL HOUSE with more than 40 people gathered for lunch, fellowship, plenty of laughter, and a fascinating program from All Saints member Don Baur, who shared stories and insights from his time officiating Big Ten college football.

A huge thank you to Don for taking us behind the scenes and sharing some great stories from the field—and to everyone who joined us around the tables today.

What a wonderful way to begin another year of OWLs at All Saints!

Our OWLs gather on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May. We’d love to have you join us next month!

OWLs Luncheons Return Tomorrow!

Our OWLs (Older, Wiser Lutherans) luncheons are back for a new program year! The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May for lunch, fellowship, and an engaging guest speaker.

We’ll kick off the season tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2, at noon with All Saints member Don Baur, who will share stories and insights from his time officiating Big Ten college football.

Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring bruschetta chicken with orzo pasta, salad, tropical chips, and dessert.

What a joyful morning celebrating Tom Gerke’s 50 years of ministry in music as Orgainist at All Saints! Thanks to Bishop Eaton for preaching, Bishop Dillahunt for assisting, Lauren Grangaard for leading the music, our clergy who attended, the committee who put so many things together, the staff who did a great job, and all who traveled home to celebrate. Thank you, Tom! Soli Deo Gloria!

Choir rehearsals are resuming at All Saints!

Whether you’ve sung or rung with us before or are thinking about joining for the first time, there’s a place for you in our music ministry.

Chancel Choir begins Aug. 26, Concordia Bells begins Sept. 2, and Cantate Choir & Cherub Bells begin Sept. 16. Our 2026–2027 worship season runs from Sept. 13 through May 23.
