As a powerful hurricane bears down on Jamaica, we invite you to join us in fervent prayer for Jamaica, surrounding nations, and our brothers and sisters who are facing this dangerous storm.
AGWM Area Director David Speer is working directly with the Jamaica AG and Convoy of Hope. AGWM continues to resource the response to urgent needs on the ground.
Please join us in praying for:
- Protection and safety for those in homes vulnerable to hurricane-force winds.
- Reduced storm intensity as the hurricane approaches the island.
- Preservation of life.
Jamaica AG Presiding General Bishop David Ewen shared: “We continue to pray and prepare. Thank you for every thought and prayer. Much blessings to you.”
Even in the face of this approaching storm, our Jamaican family remains steadfast in faith and grateful for the global church standing with them.

Each bag was packed with love — a small way to remind them they’re not alone and that people care.

With a joint effort together with , hope and encouragement were shared where they’re needed most.

Last month, our WARM Welcome Center hosted our annual Western MA pastor's luncheon. We shared about what God is doing in the refugee community in Massachusetts and WARM's vision to obey Jesus' commandment that his followers welcome the stranger because in so doing, they welcome Jesus himself.
