Here is a mini recap from Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Hughes’ message this past Sunday - "Key To Living In Constant Joy.”
- “In times of constant change and challenges, Believers need to focus on the right thing.”
- “Do not allow negative situations and thinking to overshadow all the good that is around you.”
- “We have been called to a higher way of thinking and living that is not directed by our circumstances because we are anchored in God.”
- “If you started out with God then stay with God and keep your focus on Him.”
- “We need to have a quiet confidence in God no matter what the circumstances are.”
- “What we choose to focus on determines how we will experience life.”
- “God has never taken His eyes off of you so, do not take your eyes off of Him.”
- “Even if you cannot see it, know that God is working.”
- “Joy is something you cultivate.”
- “A major hindrance to joy is dwelling on the negative; you have a choice what you magnify.”
- “Whatever season you are in, trust God in it.”
- “Each season brings with it a new set of opportunities and circumstances for spiritual growth.”
- “Joy does not depend on our external conditions but on our relationship with God.”
- “When you stay connected to God, you are protected by God.”
- “No matter the season you are walking through, joy is available.”
- “Every day you are alive is a gift from God and a reason to praise Him.”
- “Satan is looking for someone to devour; take yourself off the menu.”
- “No Believer has ever won a battle with their mouth shut.”
- “What you see as a problem is not a problem for God.”
- “Joy is the evidence we have Jesus in our lives.
- “When you are connected to The Vine/Jesus, you will have joy.”
