Here is a mini recap from Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Hughes’ message this past Sunday - “The Importance God Places on Prayer.”

• “Every Believer needs to develop an effective prayer life.”

• “It is very important for us to allow the Holy Spirit to work with us when we pray.”

• “As you pray, your attitude changes.”

• “God knows what you need so, stop worrying about it and trust God with it.”

• “You cannot be successful in your Christian life if you do not pray.”

• “Leaning on The Lord is more than just a song.”

• “The Holy Spirit is a practical and personal help to us and empowers us to do the will of God.”

• “Many Believers fail to pray because they do not have confidence in their prayers.”

• “The Holy Spirit gives us guidance using God’s Word and not our words.”

• “You will not be frustrated if you put the situation in God’s Hands and let the Holy Spirit do what needs to be done.”

• “The Holy Spirit understands us far better than we understand ourselves.”

• “Some things you will not think your way out of; you must pray your way out of.”

• “When you allow God to help you, you grow spiritually.”

• “Sometimes, you need to go back and look at the evidence of God’s faithfulness in your life.”

• “Jesus left nothing undone and sent the Holy Spirit to be our Helper on our Christian journey.”

Scriptures: Romans 8:26-27, James 4:2-3 and Matthew 6:31-32.

The Life Point Of The Week is: “If you are praying and cannot find it in The Word of God, then you are praying against the will of God.”
