At WARM, we believe walking alongside refugee families in our community is one way we can live out God's call to love our neighbors.

It's Highlight Thursday!! 🎉
Today we're celebrating Heather Fetterly! Heather has been serving as a volunteer in Worcester with WARM since 2024, befriending families, helping with events, tutoring teens, and sharing her beautiful smile with everyone she meets. We are so grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our community. Thank you for all you do, Heather! 💚

🌎 Favorite part of volunteering with WARM?
"My favorite part of volunteering for WARM is getting to experience the joy of personally meeting and discovering people from cultures different from mine and connecting with them even if it is just by smiling. A smile actually does mean friendship to everyone. I also like how the team serves together and stays on focus for spreading Jesus's love to those in need."

"I returned to competitive rowing after 30 years. Due to an old back injury this was a real miracle & I am blessed with a great team there also!"

"Chocolate chip cookies...."

Learning happens together! 💚 While our Tuesday English Language Learner (ELL) adult students are busy practicing their English, our amazing WARM summer interns keep their kids engaged with playtime, games, and crafts. Creating space for the whole family to grow! 📚✨

At WARM, we believe that reaching out and supporting one another is essential to showing God’s love to everyone in our community. Today we're celebrating Rachael Shek! Rachael has been serving as an ELL Teacher with WARM since 2025 at our Friday class in Worcester. We are so grateful for the passion, energy, and care she brings to our community. Thank you for all you do, Rachael! 💚

🌎 Favorite part of volunteering with WARM?
"My favorite part of WARM is meeting so many amazing people and hearing their stories! We are all so different, and have such different backgrounds, but once we get to know each other, we aren’t so different after all. I also love seeing all the babies that come to class, so cute!"

🥋 Fun fact about you?
"I’ve been training jiu jitsu for 5 years, and I teach kids jiu jitsu."

🍣 Favorite comfort food?
"Sushi, or anything with cheese!"
