Troop 54 Worcester Massachusetts is baking pies to donate to local charities for Thanksgiving and they need your help. Donations of canned fruit pie filling, ready to bake crust, and grocery store gift cards are being accepted until November 23rd.

This coming Sunday, July 6th, Epworth United Methodist Church will be welcoming our newly appointed pastor, Stephen MacLeod, into our fellowship. Steve is a graduate of Bangor (ME) Theological Seminary and has been serving Methodist churches in Maine and New Hampshire for the last 20 Years. In a similar fashion to Ken Mantler, whom he replaces, he will serve on a half-time basis from his home in Wayland.

Following the Sunday service there will be tables of refreshments for all and an opportunity to visit and get acquainted with Steve and his family, who will be coming with him for the service. Please join in!

Our neighbors Veterans Inc. are collecting items to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner for those in need. Follow this link to see how you can help

The Veterans Inc. Holiday Harvest provides Thanksgiving meal supplies to over 650 Veterans families including turkeys, trimmings, stuffing, and fresh produce.

The Scouts from Troop 54 Worcester Massachusetts and Troop 7054 will be baking pies for Veterans Inc. and Friendly House at Wesley United Methodist Church on November 25th. They are asking for donations of canned pie filling, ready to bake pie crust, and grocery store gift cards to use to purchase other baking supplies. There is a donation box at the kitchen serving window in Fellowship Hall.

This window has been hung in the front stairwell in memory of Jenice Peterson. Thank you to the friends and family of Jenice for the funds to make this available. Window restoration was done by Paulson Stained Glass Studio. Thanks to Scott Schedin for hanging the window. The backlighting was installed by Long Lasting Contracting, who provided the photo.
